Time Zara went on maternity leave disappeared for a bit. I'm bored of the Joe story.

I have a theory - and I hope it's wrong cos I like him - that Sid is going to become suicidal soon, he is always being criticised by Zara (who I normally quite like but she is being a horrid bully) and clearly suffers from low self esteem. Don't doctors have quite a high rate of suicide attempts?

Haven't they already had a suicide? It would be very sad if it happened again.

There was a suicide last year with Mandy's girlfriend at about the time Heston started to get treatment for depression but I don't know if there's been any doctors themselves in the programme attempt suicide, there was one in Holby/Casualty a few years ago (the woman who played Toyah in Corrie). As I said, I really like Sid - I think he's very endearing

oh, I remember- it was Simon, the gay doctor. He attempted suicide but didn't succeed. I think it was after he left that Freya and Kevin arrived.

I didn't watch it at the time so I have no idea who he is! I got into Doctors on maternity leave in 2009-10 and then didn't start watching it with any regularity until last year I think. Now I watch it on i-player if I can't watch it live!!

Yes he was involved with a little girls social services case and said all was fine and then she got killed by her mum.

Zara is being really horrid to Sid and I like him too.

6tl is crap if she can't arrange a simple blood test for herself-she ought to visit her own GP & not speak to the Mill Doctors if she is unable to diagnose the menopause herself.
I have hot flushes due to my age & I really have no sense of taboo in telling people! It happens (& can be handy in winter )

But I was wondering how she knew Zara had gone through the menopause? She wasn't around when it was happening and it's not something Zara would have told her!

I can't remember whether 6tl knew about Zara's early menopause or not Cinnamon I suppose it's something that might be known as it's quite unusual & Joe was conceived by IVF (overthinking things here )
