I'm really enjoying it so far but on episode 3 series 1.
is it worth it ?

I've really enjoyed it up until the season currently on E4, which I'm finding a bit hard going. I've got three episodes to watch on Sky+ that I can't be arsed to get round to.

I thought it started out ridiculous but watchable and went rapidly downhill from there.

I gave up a few eps into S2.

Series 1 is the best - by the final stages of series 4 it has gone beyond ridiculous. So for now you can keep going, but feel free to abandon it somewhere in season 3!

I thought it was terrible and I love crappy American TV! Also gave up at beginning of series 2.
