Why is there another presenter on Homes Under The Hammer?

It's Dion Dublin, who I think used to be a footballer. What was wrong with just Martin and Lucy? They were a great twosome. Why do we need a threesome?

My thoughts exactly. I was back in the UK for 4 weeks and was getting my HUTH fix and it was really off putting. It didn't flow as well.

What? I'll need to ditch the hoovering and investigate tomorrow. I don't like the idea of this Dion coming between the poor man's Phil and Kirstie (actually I much prefer Martin and Lucy to P&K)

Perhaps it's one of her friends. Isn't she a wag in real life that diversified in to property.

I reckon one of them will soon be leaving the series and they're getting us used to dion instead. It's daytime TV and people don't like change. I love the fact that programme is so formulaic!

He wasn't on it today. I'm stuck at home with a puppy at the moment so I got a chance to watch. Mind you they do show an awful lot of repeats.

Lucy and Martin aren't leaving the show, apparently they have other business commitments so need to cut back a bit on this show, hence the need for another presenter.

I like a letter in lkast weeks radio times ( I think) saying martin and Lucy are always propping up walls or each other!

I imagine she needs to spend more time at home and less time filming now. Tragic for her DD.

What is going on with Martins shirt?

Missed yesterday's but the shirt Martin was wearing today was spectacular. He had a blazer on top of it. It made me wonder if he had an interview or court appearance to go to later and that was his idea of a formal outfit.

I've just had a startling thought about the order that they film it. Told DH who was totally unimpressed so posting here instead!!

I used to think that they viewed the house, went to the auction and came back with the buyers to discuss. Just as they show it on the show.

However, It occurs to me that they go to the auction first. Find somebody who's bought a house and is willing to be filmed. Then Martin/Lucy/Dion do the walk round first bit and immediately after talk to the new buyer.

It's obvious really as they wear the same clothes for the first walk round and meeting the buyer.

I love that show. Not sure about Dion though. He's a bit wooden.

I fast forward through DD's appearances. He's very poor. A failed experiment.

Im sure the script writers give him every piece to camera containing as many 'S's as possible, just to show his speech impediment up. And his bloody arms and hands, whats going on with them???
