Don't get me wrong, I'm a big P&K fan but I don't get this. If you are considering moving why would you spend a huge amount of money renovating your own home?

Am wondering what she sees in him...

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 12/05/2015 22:29

Oh God that was painful, his only saving grace was he seemed quite a gentle soul.

Again, all that did not need to cost nearly £40, they needed to knock through, keep the original kitchen and buy a sofa bed and decorate.

mrsmeerkat · 12/05/2015 22:32

He was handsome but I furiating. So set in his ways.

Davros · 13/05/2015 09:24

Kirsty ruined that table! I can't believe they decided to stay in that poky place compared to that barn conversion. Having said that, I'd have to be carried out of my house in a box!

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 13/05/2015 13:04

Dh ( northern) says the barn was pricey for where it was, it seemed it to me tbh.

Don't blame him for not wanting to live on a fast road, I wouldn't either.

SheHasAWildHeart · 14/05/2015 23:04

Did they really spend £40k on that work?!

SymphonyofShadows · 15/05/2015 20:30

I didn't see all of it, why didn't they change the conservatory into a guest room if they rarely use it?

That table is going to peel like buggery as soon as it's had a few wipes

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/05/2015 23:54

Handsome??

Agree conservatory into a spare bedroom or even just stick a sofa bed in there would have solved their problems

workJack · 16/05/2015 22:04

I've liked previous episodes but this just annoyed me. They did bugger all for almost £25k!

SymphonyofShadows · 17/05/2015 07:58

Why did they take out the kitchen? The one they had before was ok and they didn't extend did they?

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 17/05/2015 08:17

Blondes-I thought he was too.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/05/2015 08:38

Really??? Well you can both fight over him Grin

I prefer Phil :)

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 17/05/2015 09:55

Urghhh Phil the 'smarmy sexist, drop as many inappropriate remarks into every sentence he speaks' man? Go for it Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/05/2015 17:31

All mine then :)

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 17/05/2015 18:07

DefinitelyGrin

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 19/05/2015 23:49

If you have a budget of 650k why would you have your different sex teens sharing a really small room?Confused

noddyholder · 20/05/2015 00:01

Kirsty got the refurb all wrong

Cherrypie32 · 20/05/2015 07:03

Surely you'd have gone for double storey extension or not bothered. Those poor kids at their age.

workJack · 20/05/2015 11:11

This series is making me crosser by the week. It sounds like a good idea for a show but there is something that just doesn't work.

i think Kirsty must have her hands tied a lot of the time and gets overruled by the family as there is no way she would have chosen that kitchen. And surely the prayer room could have gone in the office so the children could have their own room? Madness.

workJack · 20/05/2015 11:13

The only saving grace is that Phil is curbing his innuendos. I coudn't stomach one of his series because of them.

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/05/2015 15:34

Just watching now so don't know outcome yet

But

How wrong to have the siblings sharing - what is in 3rd bedroom As obv isn't a 2 bed house from outside

And even worse to make the office in their bedroom Shock why wasn't it in the parents room or even downstairs in the dining room

One bathroom and 4 people isn't that bad. I grew up in a family of 4 and one bathroom

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/05/2015 15:36

Oh a prayer room - couldn't that be downstairs in living room?

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 21/05/2015 16:10

'Only one bathroom Shock' always makes me laugh too, we lived with our grandparents for years so there were 5 of us, can't remember it being an issue. We've only had a second loo in the last 8 years, really handy but we could do without I'm sure.

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/05/2015 16:55

Excalty dame the shock and horror at one bathroom !!!!!

Still think the prayer room could have been where the closed off living room was - surely don't need a whole room dedicated to prayer 100% of the time - or I would be going in if I we're the daughter and praying for a bedroom to myself .....,,,,.
