i know this was on a week or so back but i rewatched it all, just incredible harrowing and fascinating. one of the best prison docs ive ever seen. the regime is brutal i.e not allowed to sit/lie on your bed during daylight hours meanwhile locked in 23 hrs a day. if you werent homicidal enough going in... And Siberia is just so vast and brutal isn't it? (wildernesses )

it is very good but quite gut wrenching in an emotional way?

I enjoyed it, but it was grim. The way it is built in the forest is chilling and the building itself seems old and dirty. Very interesting though especially when you compare it to this country.

I saw it a couple of months ago, it has really stayed with me.

I watched it last week when I was ironing. I was hooked from the start when they described the location of the prison; in the middle of a forest the size of Germany, 7 hours drive from the nearest city and with winter temperatures of -40
