Still catching up after my holiday, only a couple of episodes behind now.

Therese's brother is a really Dr Evil, isn't he? I hope he gets caught soon. I love Paul!

I loved seeing Professor Wombat yesterday. My DS has the same toy & is inseparable from it. I'm trying to decide whether to show him a screenshot - he'll either think it's hilarious or be traumatised that another child is holding "his" beloved toy!

i think Brodie looks like a young Neil from the young ones (Nigel Planer)

I think Brodie looks a bit like Dylan Klebold (Columbine shooter) which is pretty unfortunate.
I'm not keen on Mark and Steph but I've never liked Steph, even back in the nineties!
Drives me mental every time Jimmy the shit calls Paul 'G Dad'.

I don't mind Xanthe. At least she's a female character without a stick up her arse unlike most of the others.

I cannot stand Amy and her mum and son. I'm bored of Kyle. I hate Paige. I still blame Sonya for ruining Toadie's character.

But I will always love Paul.

I'm on holiday next week so I'll have to have a big catch up when I come back. Gutted my holiday is clashing with the Hotel Horror week!

I've been discussing it with DH and he doesn't reckon they'd get rid of Karl, Susan or Paul. So my money's on Josh and Kyle. Can't Nene sod off and take irritating little Jimmy with her?

Josh will die, possibly/probably with Doug as well. Double tragedy for the Willises and lots of opportunity for the programme makers to do flashbacks to when the Willises lived on the street.
I'm more concerned who the third person will be, if it's not someone semi=attached like one of the Quill's or Brodie.
It had better not be Toadie ....

Also I think Sarah Beaumont is back because she is going to tell Karl that she had a child by him in 1999 - cue new character aged about 18..... ?

Xanthe is pretty funny, she's a lot more likeable than I thought she would be.

I love Xanthe too. Laughed out loud when she threw up on Susan. Hopefully she will lighten Ben up a bit. He' s usually way too serious.

Does anyone else get annoyed by Sonya when she's flustered. Talking to Mark and Steph she was all "yeah, no, ok, yeah, oh, right, I'll go in the other room". Just spit it out woman. She does it all the time.

It might be Josh and Doug that leave, could be in a plane crash. Hope they take Nene with them

YY to Sonya's ridiculousness. How long will it be until Steph moves in with Mark? Surely super-mum Sonya will object to them behaving like that around Nell... not that she's seen very regularly in her own living room! Poor child seems to spend all her time at nursery/childminders/asleep.

I think it will definitely be Josh that dies in the explosion. Anyone in Neighbours who suddenly makes a life changing decision for the better like he has today is doomed!

Is the night episode a new episode or is it just a chance to see the next two days episodes early? I'm away Monday and Tuesday so I'll have to avoid this thread until I get back!

i have never got why they rent out rooms. why do toadie ( a lawyer) and Sonia the mayor need to have a lodger.....

I wonder if it's late night for content or to be closer to Australia? Although it's around 9am here when they have their usual episode isn't isn't? Time zones confuse me...

Toadie needs to rent out a room because he does most of his work for people on Ramsey Street and they all get mates rates or pay-when-they-can rates!
