Still catching up after my holiday, only a couple of episodes behind now.

Therese's brother is a really Dr Evil, isn't he? I hope he gets caught soon. I love Paul!

Anyone else notice that they have been quite crafty lately and are almost showing Paul's legs? They always manage to get the camera to cut off just where you would be able to see the false leg. It is something that I've noticed recently but as I'm not the most observant it could be that they've done this for ages.

They do like to pair the characters up in neighbours! Mark is moving on very quickly! Plus no mention of the age gap between him and Steph, Was trying to work out ages.

Steph's character when introduced back in 1999 was 20/21 so she'd now be 38/39 and Mark was 25 when he dated Kate (age 19) back in 2011 and I think they said he was just turned 30 when he was to Marry Paige. That's a bigger age gap between him and Steph than him and Kate.

Or do we think they are going to reverse age Steph?

Steph looks old enough to be Mark's mum.

The actress who plays Steph is 43 the actor who plays Mark is 34.

I think Steph and Mark look a much more credible couple than Mark and Paige. Not that this reflects any kind of wishful thinking on my part, oh no.

Brodie, I don't get it. He is Brads son right so half brother of Piper, Josh etc so how/why was Piper going out with him (coincidence that they were both in Canada?) and is it ok to go out with your half brother ?? and why does she call him Chaz?

I don't think Brodie is one of Brad's, but I can't understand the Chaz thing either, nor why his relationship with Piper is meant to be such a dark secret.

Wasn't his surname Chaswick or some kind of thing? So Chas shirt for his last name?

I think they said Brodie accused Josh of taking steroids when he was swimming because he was jealous of him. That's why they all hated him (except Piper of course). He told Josh he gets on better with his family than with his own, so not Brad's child.

Not sure of his surname, could be what HairsprayQueen said. I wondered about that bit as well, didn't look at the credits.

The Xanthe "egg mayonnaise" story was so obvious, it was dreadful. But I loved Julie Quill throwing up on Paul though.

I really don't like Amy's mum, Noonoo, or whatever he name is, hope she's not in it for too long.

Thanks for clearing that up, sort of. Amy's mum has a weird grimace on her face the whole time.

Piper is too 'spunky' for the wooden Brodie/Chaz.

Can't believe Brodie has moved in with the Willis family already, they all seem to have very short memories. Two episodes ago they all hated him.

Why did Amy not treat Jimmy's arm. All he needed was a couple of plasters.

Jimmy running into that wall was so fake. I know he's only a child but still... My 4 year old could do better! I rewound it to watch it again because it was so ridiculous!

I was hoping Jimmy would hurt himself more badly so he would be off screen forever for a long time.

Kyle & Josh & Imogen must be favourites to go. As long as it isn't the Kennedys or Paul I don't care who dies.

Paul was awesome today. But why is Lucas in the room with Phillipa and Steph? Is he going to ruin everything for Steph? Not that I think Steph deserves luck.

My guess is that Philippa will have summoned Lucas to testify about why Steph lost her job at the garage, as well as the kidnapping thing, but it'll hideously backfire & he'll end up supporting Steph. I'd quite like to skip all the melodrama & just have Charlie move in. It's obvious that's where it's heading. Philippa will be unmasked as a controlling sociopath, Steph will be awarded custody, possibly joint initially but then Max & Philippa will split up & Steph will look after him while they attempt to work through their issues but then Charlie will beg to stay.

When I read the "much loved" comment, I assumed Karl/Susan just because they've been in it so long. Josh/Imogen/Kyle would make sense though. I'd guess Kyle & Imogen. Josh will go with Brodie to continue his training once he realises he'd be a good coach & Brad gives them his blessing so he can stay with Lauren. No idea who the returnees will be but I'd guess one of the "mysterious strangers" will be Brad's estranged son Ned, possibly with his girlfriend/mum in tow. They gave new heads to both Brad & Lauren so I'm sure they'll have no problems with a new Beth too!

I hate both Xanthe & Brodie at the moment. Neither of them seem like likely companions for Piper. Yet another case of "they're the only characters of the same age so must be best friends/in a relationship/mortal enemies". No-one can be indifferent with someone of a similar age on a soap.
