Starting a new thread as the old one is nearly full.

Still catching up after my holiday, only a couple of episodes behind now.

Therese's brother is a really Dr Evil, isn't he? I hope he gets caught soon. I love Paul!

I'm getting really hacked off with this current attitude at the moment that DNA trumps everything.

Steph banging on about being Charlie's mum when another woman has actually raised him and Paige and Lauren completely forgetting about Mary.

Also don't get all the Ramsay Street love for Paige. She was pretty good when she first turned up but has become ridiculously self obsessed.

I very rarely post on here but am an avid neighbours watcher, and just have to say something about the new credits to people who care!

Why is Aaron not in the pool shot with mark and Tyler? It would make much more sense for the three brothers to be together, and for Nate, Sheila and Steph to be in a waterhole scene as they all work there!

Also, where did all the wedding chairs and tables come from? Did they drop from the sky?

And why, the other day, when Brad was doing woodwork in Lauren's garden - before they had got back together - in front of the open shed, did he fail to notice all the stolen stuff that Paige had stashed there?!

I know neighbours is trash (and I love it for it), but the continuity at the moment is appalling.

And why was Imogen giving it out to piper about what a bad day she was having because her sister had been arrested at her wedding and she needed support? Surely exactly the same applies to piper, because they are sisters?

Completely agree about the opening credits, it's been bugging me too! I assumed they just didn't want to reshoot the Nate/Mark/Tyler one.
I also don't understand why Brad didn't notice all the stolen stuff. Maybe because it was in bin bags and he's not that smart?
As for Imogen, much like her sisters and her father, she's just totally self obsessed.

When they were talking about the wedding and how awful it was in the kitchen with Tyler, Aaron (I think), Courtney and Piper and Piper said to Courtney that she wasn't there, did they not say to Piper that she wasn't either? Why wasn't she?

The other thing is the flat was full of stolen goods yet it all magically gutted into a couple of bin bags.

Why do Amy and Kyle always seem to shag in the laundry room? What am I missing? Is there something sexy about dirty socks and washing powder?

At least they haven't dragged out Paul getting the money from Doug!

They sure got that Motel cleaned up quickly, they can come round to mine anytime!

What was Lou doing there all of a sudden, most odd. I thought he was meant to be looking after Bailey somewhere.

Yes the motel was quickly spruced up. Why on earth would Paul go in wearing a suit if it needed refurbishing.

Oh yes! Lou! That was weird. Though tbh I forget if he's there or not

Is it just me or did anyone else think Sonia looked really uncomfortable with Nell on her shoulders today. She looked like she was about to collapse.

Why is this Max's wife worried about Steph relapsing but not Max- he had breakdowns didn't he?

Oh good, Steph just referenced his mental health, someone remembers the past (I'm half way through, usually wait til the end until I post!)

What a ridiculous scene where Lynn poured out the Steph - Paul story to Max's wife, apparently by mistake! Silly even for Neighbours.

Lynn has always been ridiculous.

I'd forgotten about Max's breakdowns.

The whole adoption story is daft.

I really don't understand this adoption issue. Surely if Steph doesn't give her permission (which of course she isn't going to) then it just isn't relevant.

She broke the parenting order so I guess they could use that against her. The attempt to bribe Steph didn't make Max's wife look too confident about her chances though.

The scene with Doug and Lauren at the end of the episode was very uncomfortable viewing. It's good in a way as Alzheimer's is awful and unpleasant like that. It's great that they're covering an important issue but it's so hard to watch.

I think Terence Donovan's portrayal of Doug's dementia is very sensitively done and well handled- he has really nailed it.

He's doing a great job, him explaining what it was like to Lou today was heartbreaking.

Doug's scene with Lou about his Alzheimers was so sad. I do wonder how far they will go with it.

The party in the motel room was just about the saddest party I have ever seen. Xanthe is really starting to annoy me now!
