Starting a new thread as the old one is nearly full.

Still catching up after my holiday, only a couple of episodes behind now.

Therese's brother is a really Dr Evil, isn't he? I hope he gets caught soon. I love Paul!

I'm really liking the Tyler/Imogen thing. I thunk they're both great characters. Don't understand the Imogen dislike and Tyler is even dishier than Mark. I used to love Mark even if he was (is) boring.

Tyler reminds me of that dude from Big Brother years ago, the one that Michelle fancied and the no naked jacuzziness, was it Stu maybe? Anyway he really reminds me of him!

I like then Tyler/Imogen thing too. Far more interesting than moping around afterDaniel. It's nice to see her having a bit more fun. Although his hair really irritates me!

Looking forward to Dr Evil getting caught.. Though for the life of me I cannot seem how he thought the plan wouldn't be discovered!

that was what was annoying me - what kind of idiot throws away all that study and work to get where he was, of all the unbelievable stuff they do in neighbours, i think this is the 'jump the shark'

....at least set someone else for the fall..... say that the results were done by someone else

AnneEyhtMeyer · 29/04/2015 20:56

Cecy - yes, Tyler is very like Mr No Naked Jacuzziness!

Will you be watching BB on 12th May?

Dr Evil is a hopeless villain. I can't believe Lovely Paul was taken in by him.

I like Imogen. She is the best teen in it.

Dragon I think Neighbours jumped the shark many many years ago. That's one of the reasons why I love it so much (that and Paul Robinson)

Bailey bloody infuriates me, that boy needs a good slap instead of them all pussy-footing around him!

Can't remember if it was a suicide in the truest sense but didn't Julie jump off a building?

Report
IPlayBass · 30/04/2015 18:09

Oh did she C? I bloody loathed Julie and irritating Hannah urgh.

Report
AnneEyhtMeyer · 30/04/2015 18:21

I can't remember Julie doing that. I preferred the first Julie.

Neighbours jumped the shark when they did Bouncer's dream. I don't care. I love it. Paul Robinson is my heart-throb!

I think Julie's deat was originally planned to be suicide but they changed it to falling of a tower because she was drunk witnessed by Debbie.

I can't remember any of those names.

I canst get the no naked jacuzzi scene out my head now with chicken stu!

Report
IPlayBass · 01/05/2015 09:15

I checked on the neighbours perfect blend site and yes, it was going to be a suicide but they changed it to her falling.

They are saying on instagram now that Bailey leaves to live with his gran so hopefully the suicide story was just a rumour.

Apparently Lou is going too, but will be back at some point.

Report
oneowlgirl · 01/05/2015 09:22

I like how Lou comes & goes - makes it seem more realistic! What does jumping the shark mean??

Report
Cherrypie32 · 01/05/2015 09:22

Don't think Bailey commits suicide as pics from Aus Neighbours facebook page today seem to have him saying goodbye. Perhaps a suicide attempt.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jumping_the_shark

Jumping the shark is an idiom created by Jon Hein that was used to describe the moment in the evolution of a television show when it begins a decline in quality, signaled by a particular scene, episode, or aspect of a show in which the writers use some type of gimmick in an attempt to keep viewers' interest, which is taken as a sign of desperation, and is seen by viewers to be the point at which the show had strayed irreparably from its original premise. The phrase is based on a scene from a fifth-season episode of the sitcom Happy Days when the character Fonzie jumps over a shark while on water-skis.[1][2][3]

I don't understand why Paul has shaved his head?

Report
AnneEyhtMeyer · 01/05/2015 18:27

Because his hair was falling out I think - wanted to avoid dealing with that so shaved it.

Me too, if nothing else I'll be glad to see the back of Georgia's sulky face which is annoying me so much

Ah ok, I wondered if that was it, but hadn't heard a reference to it.
I'm wondering if mark and Paige will get back together.

Paul did look all cute in that hat.
