Starting a new thread as the old one is nearly full.

Still catching up after my holiday, only a couple of episodes behind now.

Therese's brother is a really Dr Evil, isn't he? I hope he gets caught soon. I love Paul!

I thought impotent as he raised the issue (no pun intended) with Karl and I didn't think he would know there was an issue yet if just infertile if that makes sense.

Asheth · 16/01/2016 21:09

I originally assumed impotent, as he couldn't have known if there was just a problem with his sperm. Surely men don't know that until they're trying for a baby.

But then all he started talking about was not being able able to have children. Not 'we're never going to have sex again'. So I'm wondering if this is Neighbours way of bringing infertility into the story without needing to do TTC story.

KittyMcAllister · 16/01/2016 21:47

Yes the impotency makes more sense than infertility, as pp said he wouldn't be aware that a sperm duct had been severed unless they were unsuccessfully TTC. But then impotency doesn't necessarily equal infertility! Why am I trying to read logic into Neighbours storylines?!

MagpieCursedTea · 16/01/2016 22:26

They're also pretty limited in what they can say in a daytime soap so they're having to try and be subtle about it which isn't helping the clarity.

Asheth · 17/01/2016 10:50

The point of this story line is presumably to show the impact of Sonya's actions and the impact it will have on their relationship. And all we are doing is discussing Toadie's erections! GrinWink

Anyway this is Neighbours so he'll probably have triplets by this time next year! Although to be fair they haven't done a miracle cure of the paralysis. Most characters are running marathons a few days after being told they may never walk again!

HairsprayQueen · 19/01/2016 19:52

How old is Tyler meant to be?

MagpieCursedTea · 19/01/2016 20:39

I've been trying to work that out. I'm guessing around 19/20? Is Piper 16?

Asheth · 20/01/2016 08:02

My DS said Tyler was 21 or 22, which would make him a bit old for a 16/17 year old.

Rummikub · 21/01/2016 20:40

Loved the scene with dr Karl, Susan and Aaron. Grin

MagpieCursedTea · 21/01/2016 20:58

Poor Aaron, he'll never unsee that Grin

I got far too emotional about Bossy today.

HairsprayQueen · 21/01/2016 21:34

Bossy's eyes looked so sad. Like the real life dog knew it was his last days in a job he liked Sad

KittyMcAllister · 21/01/2016 22:13

That was classic Kennedys. Loved it.

TyrionLannistersShadow · 21/01/2016 22:44

What's happening with Bossy does anyone know? I am not sure if we are on the same episode here in Ireland but Kyle has just got Bossy back from the dog pound and she bit him? Is she sick or something? We love Bossy here, I even follow her on Instagram, saddo that I am Grin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 23/01/2016 11:35

The vet has agreed to operate on Bossy in exchange for a new gazebo? Ok then...

Just had a big catch up on this week's episodes. Loved the Kennedys!

Steph is her usual selfish dreadful self, expecting everyone else to pick up the pieces of her disastrous life choices.

OP posts:
Samcro · 23/01/2016 11:42

"disastrous life choices."
yeah cos she chose MH problems.

I was so glad Bossy was ok.
I would have chosen Bossy over Jimmy lol

I wonder if Charlie will come back.
I do wonder who would have their husbands ex living with them.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 23/01/2016 18:46

Those weren't the choices I was referring to.

She has made an endless series of disastrous life choices.

OP posts:
Clawdy · 23/01/2016 19:22

Yes,she's made some ridiculous choices, and become increasingly dislikeable. Pity they brought her back really.

Katz · 24/01/2016 10:51

Just catching up and watching Thursday's neighbours and Sonya and Taidie were talking about writing down the things that are missing to give the police, did I miss something were they burgled?

MagpieCursedTea · 24/01/2016 10:56

I was trying to figure out when they were burgled! I thought I'd just missed something as that scene you mentioned was the first I'd heard of it.

Katz · 24/01/2016 10:59

Not just me then. Random neighbours writing then! Surely officer Mark policeman extraordinaire would have been involved. Sonya pointedly mentioned the watch Dee gave him.

I wonder if this is linked the some spoilers I've read regarding Paige.

Samcro · 24/01/2016 11:01

wasnt that when jimmys dad nicked stuff

MagpieCursedTea · 24/01/2016 11:03

They said to Xanthe that there had been a few burglaries in the area and made it sound like it was unsolved.
I also noticed the mention of Dee, in soap language that would usually mean a return of that character.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 24/01/2016 11:20

Oh I missed the mention of Dee. Surely that must mean she is coming back? That would be awesome!

OP posts:
Katz · 24/01/2016 11:26

Dee was a great character.

Yep more mentions of break ins but only now!

HairsprayQueen · 25/01/2016 06:13

Oh I hadn't even considered Dee coming back- I'd just heard it as Sonya's snarky way of saying how Toadie loves everyone else better than her!
