Has already been commissioned for series 2 in the US. According to the article I read, it is the 2nd most popular new show in the US (with NCIS New Orleans being #1). I think it is great.

I watch the US showings and don't know where the UK is up to. It does get better but remains formulaic. It's not a "must watch" for me but very watchable.

And I want her house.
Wouldn't say no to her husband either Grin

Yes, it's one of my 'watch on the bus' shows, i.e. I can pick it up and put it down without too much of a problem. Obviously it is a ludicrously fictionalised version of White House/State Department life but none the worse for that.

I'd take the house but could do without the children!

I've almost caught up on this (2shows left to get up to date) & I'm really liking it. Started off a bit shakey, seemed to struggle for what it was trying to be but I'm really warmed to it now. I love Tea Leoni - she's bloody brilliant, such a strong female lead & not in a ridiculous OTT unrealistic way. Just a steady assured woman doing a tough job really well.

There are still a few niggles but with the lesser characters. Glad it's been renewed for a 2nd series.

Love it. Good, strong females (Nadine, the CIA friend, and the admiral, as well as MSec) and an interesting mix of home and professional. It's a little formulaic and she is invariably victorious, but those are minor quibbles.

Ha ha! Exactly. It is a bit formulaic but quite enjoying it. Good back story with the spy coming in from the cold (Bess, I think it is) in next episode - tonight Smile
