Yep, this season has been a bit meh so far. Hope it picks up soon.

I liked the hobo helping Scarlett resolve her songwriting blockage in this week's episode.

I agree this season isn't as good but it's early days so I'm sure it'll pick up. Need more music! The Will storyline is bothering me - his poor wife!

Come to think of it, all the storylines are bothering me - I still love it though! Grin

DH and I have taken to booing when Jeff is on screen. He is the JR Ewing du jour.

Totally agree DustBunny - they could make a lot more of him as that type of character & get some juicy storylines from it! Grin

Watching tonight's on catch up. Jeff is almost sympathetic!

It's what they do. Introduce someone as nasty then make them nice.

Juliette, avert, lana

I thought this week's was really interesting, with Rayna bailing on her wedding -thank God, that Luke lives a circus. I loved the little smile playing on her lips as she drove away. But then the marriage solution for Juliette! An interesting contrast & credible.
Why are two main characters both named Luke? Lack of imagination & makes it very confusing.

Who's the other Luke? I thought there was only Good Ol' Wheels Up?

Was so happy Rayna finally saw the light, the first half of the season was such a drag with her tethered to that muppet.

Cannot be doing with Layla, but I almost felt sorry for her when Jeff and Will were arranging her life behind her back. Not seeing sympathetic Jeff myself, he's a creepy knob. I do like his scenes though, if he had a mustache he'd be twirling it all the time.

Luke Wheeler saying he shouldn't have be around the bitch Rayna. She's lucky she got out.

He's an evil piece of sh*t she doesn't need.
Poor Sadie needs her help and support
and her love Deacon does too.

When juliette put Averys chair and throw in babies bedroom that was so so sweet.

Layla and Will needs happiness and poor Gunnar and Mica need to stay in touch for the sake of jason.

Zoey had fantastic voice too hope she stays. I love this story

Luke wheeler is a loser. (Like my evil ex) playing victim when actually he's a evil messed up piece of shit. Good rid Rayna dodge his bullet.

Tonight's episode is great. I will never get bored of seeing Jeff Fordham having his arse handed to him on a plate. Lots to love tonight too - Avery and Juliette (awww); Gunnar, Scarlett and Avery singing together (lovely) and Scarlett and her friendly oncologist (awww). Just seen the teaser for next week too - so much drama. It reminds me of the big 80s soaps like Dynasty and Dallas, but better!

Rayna's been on fire in the last couple of episodes, first Jeff, then Pete last night. Felt a bit bad for Bucky though, Rayna's like "here's a promotion, sign who you think will fit, I trust you!" and then nixing everyone he suggested. And signing Layla, which shows it's her judgement thats skewed, not Bucky's. And then Layla then went and hired freaking Jeff as her manager: bet Rayna will love that Grin
Lots of good bits, J&A, SAG band (they need a better name now they have no Z) and poor sad-sack Teddy and the endless ways he finds to balls up his life.

Still addicted to this, but I do wish they would perform more music, like in the first two seasons.
Waiting with bated breath for the handcuff scene for Teddy. Expected him to be cuffed at music awards dinner, but didn't happen. Maybe when he is dropping daughter off at school?

Ah really feel sorry for Teddy. . Is it not entrapment tho if she was told to ask him for money and then she had a wire? Poor little Daphne will be distraught.

Know Mattie/Maddy upset about Deacon but anyone else annoyed with her walking out every time things go wrong? !

Juliet has PND I assume.

Delighted for Wil and wondering how that will all come out.

Think Jade/Kristina A is going to get Luke- who suddenly couldn't be nicer-in trouble, total user.

Delighted I found this thread, totally over invested in Nashville and no one to share it with! Can't be many more episodes left..

I hope the handling of julliette is more delicate than straight pnd as its much more complicated. . I can see her dilemma. She is the is the main breadwinner. Why should she automatically be the main carer? I think they are doing a good job of showing how you can get your identity lost as a new mum. I liked that avery's mum voiced the point about work this week. I think it's been pretty well played so far actually and will be annoyed if it's resolved with a few pills and a cuddle.

Yeah, I do have a lot of sympathy for Juliette - she couldn't work whilst she was pregnant and she's desperate to get herself back on the horse so to speak. And being Juliette she doesn't tend to think things through, like hiring a nanny without talking to Avery.

Maddie is irritating in the extreme. And horrible to her mother, who completely folds under the slightest pressure because she still feels guilty about the whole Deacon/dad thing, but no wonder Maddie's a brat when Rayna completely goes back on punishments left, right and centre.
