Well we ended up taking our little girl to A&E with a bumped head so didn't get to watch it live as planned. Thankfully wee one is fine so KFC for dinner and delayed viewing.

So pleased for Simon. His dishes looked incredible despite the mushrooms.

And I can thoroughly recommend the Alex Polizzi series on BBC2 which has professional chefs competing for real cheffy jobs.

Just found out my friend's grandson is a classmate of Simon's youngest. The parents and children were all rooting for him.

Just popping in to smugly say Simon is friends with my lovely SIL. She ate his food before he was famous. Ah, v pleased he won!
