David Cameron still being illusive and evasive about where the cuts will come from regarding welfare.

I thought Evan Davies was shockingly rude and not letting DX develop any answers - I mean asking him a question then saying "but you're bamboozling me with figures". Well of course he is you twat because he's trying to answer the bloody question! I got quite cross Grin

DC not DX

homebythesea · 15/04/2015 21:44

And I'm
Afraid you are naive in thinking DC would all of a sudden spill the beans

Kampeki · 15/04/2015 21:46

Have I missed another debate or something? Confused

homebythesea · 15/04/2015 21:47

It was the second leaders interview with Evan Davies (Clegg yesterday I think) on BBC1

Kampeki · 15/04/2015 21:50

Oh shit, I didn't know it was on. Thanks for clarifying. I wonder if it's on iplayer.

WipsGlitter · 15/04/2015 21:53

I agree Evan was bring a bit of a twat.

Lardylassnomore · 15/04/2015 21:54

I didn't think he would spill the details at all I just think it's very telling about his lack of openness.

He ruled out changes to child benefit so narrowing the options down for the welfare cuts. I wish he would just come out and say what exactly. He knows but won't say because it will be unpopular. I also wasnt convinced by his anger at the rich thing, don't think it was very sincere.

homebythesea · 15/04/2015 22:52

If you can show me where the other leaders are making specific pledges about cuts in any interview or debate I will give you a Biscuit

Kampeki · 15/04/2015 23:23

I have just watched both Clegg and Cameron on catch-up. I wasn't convinced by DC's pseudo anger either.

I didn't like the interview style tbh. I hate Cameron and am no big fan of Clegg - will be voting Labour in May, so I'm happy to see the coalition leaders bring taken to task. However, it irritated me that he kept interrupting them and not letting them answer the questions. It seemed like a very aggressive approach.

I'm wondering if Evan fancies himself as the next Paxman. Hmm
