Dean, Jess or Logan?

When I first watched Gilmore Girls, 4 years ago, I was all for Jess and Rory. But I am re-watching it at the minute and I am so over Jess, he was never good enough for her. In fact, his broodiness has turned into whining for me.

This time I am all for Logan, Matt Czuchry is veeeery easy on the eye which helps.

Sooo, who was The One For Rory? Who do you imagine she is dating now, in between all the travelling and reporting?

Jess. She's with Jess. He's outgrown the moody arsehole phase .

Dean was a tool and Logan a thoughtless spoilt asshat.

Logan. Have just finished watching the latest The Good Wife on 4OD - vulnerable Cary/Logan = so hot.

Logan! Dean was awful. That was always one of my bugbears with Lorilei, that she thought Dean was great. He wasn't. He was clingy and needy and jealous. Ugh.

That said, the glimpse we got of "grown up" Jess was great. I always like to think they ended up together in the end.

I adore this show but watching it now I can't help but feel like Lorelai acts really shittily a lot of the time.

While we're on the subject of GG love interests can I just give an honourable mention to Max. I loved Max. Love Luke more but Max was great.

Dean!! Jess was horrible and moody and can't believe anyone likes Logan (even if he pretty). He was spoilt and selfish and went off in a sulk cos rory didn't want to get engaged at 21!!

Hated Max. Only like Luke (but he annoyed me during all the April business).

Do not mention April .

I had a thing for Jason 'Digger' Styles too actually .

I think witty, sarcastic, dark haired men are clearly my weakness.

Was just about to say I hated Digger as well. Didn't mind Christopher so much (possibly as easy on the eye).

Remember the guy Alex Lorelai went on two dates with? He was nice but just disappeared.

Oh yeah! And Jon Hamm played the guy she met at an auction, Payton I think, who she had an awful date with.

What about her and Rune??

I loved Dean so much at first that I hated Jess. Then Dean was a bit of a dick with the whole random marriage/cheating on his wife thing and he had to just move on. I loved Logan eventually. I liked how they managed to make him a bit more 3D than the generic rich kid. Still thought Rory sold out a bit though. Never warmed to Jess even when we saw him later. They did a Jess spin-off though, didn't they?
Loved Luke even if he was always in a bad mood. And the guy Lane went out with before the one she had the twins with, whatever his name was
Whoever Chad Michael Murray played in the first seasons too, ugh I know he wasn't nice but he was nice to look at.

I know that Logan is spoilt, but there is something about him, maybe that he is so opposite to Rory, that makes me love him. He challenges her, but even from the first few scenes with him (especially at the party when Dean broke up with Rory) you could see he really cared for her.

I loved Digger Stiles, but I couldn't stand Max at all. Luke and Christopher are tied for me I think.

I agree about Dean and his jealousy, so many red flags there. And the whole married affair thing, ugh.

Does anyone else cry uncontrollably when Rory gives her Valedictorian speech at Chilton?

She ends up with a mature Jess and leaves Logan for me!

I like Christopher and every time I rewatch GG, I hope for his girlfriend not to get pregant so he and Lorelai can give it a proper go. I would have loved to have seen that.

And yes I cry ay the speech, and about a million other times!

The one about her mother giving her her life's blood and filling the house with books and all that? SOB

I didn't want Lorelai and Chris to work. I was FUMING when she married him in Paris.

I think Chris represented safety and familiarity to Lorelai and they wanted it to work because of Rory but it wasn't 'love' love.

None of them. Dean = too thick. Jess = too flaky. Logan = too spoilt/immature.

Having said that, I liked Rory a bit less as the show went on.

Duh, I thought this was baby names.

But as I'm here, Dean is bloody awful. Call your child Logan, much nicer.

Logan! I am a big Cary fan in the good wife so that might be influencing me slightly!
