Scandal - should I stick with it? *spoilers*

I've been watching scandal since it started and up until recently loved it. It was easy to watch a just the right side of farcical, plus I'm fascinated by US politics. But this whole Olivia being sold story line has gone over to the wrong side of farcical and the Olivia/fitz/jake is driving me nuts! I'm on the verge of giving up and deleting it from my planner, what do you think. Keep going or give up?

Ridiculous isn't it? The first two seasons were fantastic.

That bit was pretty silly. It does go back to more traditional episodes later, ie the representing clients stuff. I don't know why they can't do that as standard and keep the Olivia melodrama as a side plot.

Assume you refer to Season Three. Definitely stick. It gets lots better.

Season 3 gets better but fitz gives me the creeps he looks like he is perving over Olivia and not lustful stick with it though we are waiting for season 4 to download q

Agree that storyline was ridiculous. And she should clearly be with Jake.

I had then same issues with Olivia being kidnapped, it was unwatchable, and I LOVE the show. I skipped about 5 eps of the series, it gets much better again after that, plenty of gladiators in suits and popcorn! Skip and stick with it!

Good to know. I loved Scandal up until the whole kidnapping happened. It's ridiculous!!!!
I shall persevere now.
