anyone with ntl does your tv service keep conking out?

For some reason it just decides to switch off then comes back on again by itself. Is anyone else having problems (they have just switched to digital or something) or is something wrong with my tv/connections???

It's been doing this for us in the last hour as well causing panic when Nick Junior disappears momentarily.

I'm sure it won't last.

thank you aDad, same problem here with NickJr. It has to work by the time ds1 gets back from school.

They're probably updateing the channels/signal coverage again. They usually do it in the middle of the night, but sometimes do it during the day when there are (allegedly) less viewers

mine was awful last night and kept stopping/freezing seems ok now

ours stops and freezes sometimes but there has been no service now for a few hours. Last time this happened the service just resumed by itself. Very annoying. Thanks for your replies.

any better now? Yours sounds worse than ours was.

all you can do is unplug at wall leave for 30 secs before plugging back in and switching back on. Or pop out your sim card thingy.

we elbowed ntl years ago cos wed be watching football and theyd be at one end..it'd freeze..next thing we knew theyd scored a goal!..its a well renowned prob and they cant do anything about it

The interactive features are absolute rubbish, slow and dont really work since they started up a few weeks back, but on the whole the picture and service is stable for us - maybe you should get on the phone to them Aimsmum? That sounds annoying, and for the price we pay for ntl it should be perfect.

aDad it came back around threeish, but this has happened a couple of times before and the service is soooo slow, can't stand it.
