Netflix original series recommendation

Just stumbled upon Danish series Rita about an unconventional high school teacher and her family. Irreverent and very funny. Love it!

Am also enjoying the quirky Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt about a woman who surfaces from a bunker and rebuilds her life in NYC.

Still have third season of House of Cards to watch and Bloodline. Want to check out Marco Polo too.

What original Netflix stuff are you enjoying?

I binged on Kimmy Schmidt and have the theme tune firmly in my head forever more. I loved Arrested Development although only the final series was Netflix exclusive. I would be in heaven if they made another series.

I've been watching Rita and think it's great. I stumbled across it too. I'm currently at the end of season 1. Other subtitled series I've liked on Netflix are The Bridge (my fave), Spiral, Les Revenants & Wallander.

As far as other Netflix originals, I love Orange is the New Black but I can't think of any others at the moment. I'll check out Kimmy Schmidt since I'm whizzing through Rita and will be done soon. I'm also watching American Horror Story but I'm sure I'll have time to binge watch another series (something I never did before Netflix). These marathon telly sessions can't be healthy

Lilyhammer was hilarious! Really loved it. Not so much of a fan of Kimmy Schmidt, it was a bit 'Tina Fey by numbers' for my liking. But I fell out of love with 30 Rock after series 2 for the same reason, so...

I'll give Rita a try though.

Agree, Daredevil by Marvel & Netflix is addictive viewing and something my DH likes to watch with me.

Binge-watched Rita, on your recommendations here. I've saved the last one!
It reminds me of Nurse Jackie/The Big C, with it's dark flashes of humour,and strong female character.
