De-lurking opera singer here to say - Lucy quite a nice cross-over artist but no where near "proper" professional opera standard, but I think she knows this even if the judges don't! She has never really said she's an opera singer (unlike La Jenkins) I don't think. Why does everyone on the voice think it's such a freak-ish, unusual way to sing?! It's quite normal and there's thousands upon thousands of us out training, perfecting, teaching, performing, working, just not on your telly box.
