After the bonkerness of last week, I found this weeks episode really dark! Feel slightly creeped out by it. Thought Michelle Keegan was great.

I missed last week's episode but saw last night's and thought Michelle was fantastic.

Is it worth going back and watching episode one?

SheHasAWildHeart · 25/03/2015 22:54

I would watch episode 1 because it gives you a good introduction to the characters and their storylines, esp Bev's story. Plus I found the whole "my wife is dead" randomness rather bonkers & entertaining.

Might i-player this weekend as there were a couple of things I didn't get. Interesting watch though

lostindubai · 03/04/2015 12:05

I'm finding it quite involving, although the third one was the weakest so far. I don't know why Kathy expected the police to visit although could have been an excuse to fess up to her husband. The last 15 mins didn't flow properly for me.

Loving seeing Rebecca Callard back on the screen though!

GetHappy · 03/04/2015 13:09

I think she expected the police to visit as she pretended to be a support worker.

lostindubai · 03/04/2015 20:10

Nothing probably would have been said but I guess in that situation you would be expecting it to. Your mind would be playing all kinds of tricks.

Davros · 06/04/2015 00:32

I have enjoyed all the episodes so far but do they really expect us to believe that Kathy was turning 40?!!

shitebag · 06/04/2015 00:41

Ha Davros I'm so glad it wasn't just me! I'd have thought a 50th would've been more believable Hmm

I've enjoyed each episode so far and quite like guessing who will be next, I'm assuming that the salesman (fat something or other?) is in an abusive relationship which will come to light in an episode and surely there's something with the ones who just got married, not to mention Max Beesley and Jo Joyners relationships. Lots to fit into 3 episodes!

Clawdy · 06/04/2015 09:26

I thought she was older too, but Sally Lindsay is actually 41. Husband looked older too.

CelibacyCakeAndFuckThePO · 06/04/2015 09:44

It's filmed in my home town, is quite bizarre watching all the on-location scenes. The garage it is filmed in is actually called JS Motors - nice bit of advertising.

TheSitChewAceChien · 06/04/2015 09:52

I wasn't expecting to like this but started on episode 2, and really liked it, had to go and watch 1 to catch up.
I kept imagining Kathy's husband in little shorts! Can't shake off Kenneth in Benidorm image! Grin

lostindubai · 06/04/2015 11:06

Obvious from episode 1 that Jo Joyner's character's husband will reappear before the series ends. In the photo on her desk you can see he's played by someone who's been in lots of other stuff (as with all the other actors!)

waithorse · 06/04/2015 11:31

Sally Lindsey is 41, so why wouldn't she play a 40 year old ? Hmm Not everyone ages the same. She certainly doesn't look older in my opinion anyway.

shitebag · 06/04/2015 14:12

I genuinely thought she was nearer 50, I also thought that the character was played much older although I can't place my finger on why.

I think its because her mannerisms and clothing reminded me of my Gran Blush

Davros · 06/04/2015 15:43

Surely Mackenzie Crook must get his own episode?
Sorry to sound bitchy about "Kathy's" age but she does look older imo and her character seems older. Not that it matters!
