That said I suppose it truly represented some teenagers

I'm just watching this now. My DS has his interview to go to Sixth Form College in 4 hours time.

Trepidation.

I recorded it... Was it good?

Hopefully twitter will have gone out of fashion by the time my son is old enough lol.

I do find it weird though how teens seem to be so happy to self flagellate themselves via social media.

Its was kind of uncomfortable viewing for me. Its so cringey and I worry about the poor kids having to watch repeats of themselves on some crappy freeview channel in 10 years time!

My 16yo has pretty much turned her back on social media after an awful time of bullying on facebook but there were similar connotations and undetones to some of the stuff in the programme - when I now look back at the very very start of Yr9 and social media.

My youngest is current Yr9 - the year where girls generally make each others life an utter hell and she is fairing better than her sister did (at the moment) but social media is a nightmare. Private messaging is what they seem to use and lots of group chat.

Actually we had tears last night after DD2 had been blocked from a group chat after so say sticking up for someone they were bitching about! Sigh!!
