Anyone watching burger bar to gourmet star?

Marvelling at Sampson just deciding to run a burger bar with no experience.

I saw this from probably about half way through. I do wonder how much pressure he was under that he cracked like that, and then how much pressure he was under to go to Italy. Looked like a great experience though!

I've just watched the introduction to this and can't help asking "why?". Can anyone explain to me why the programme is taking people from one job and placing them in another?

It wasn't very good was it. I was thinking it would be more like Faking It which I used to enjoy. All these programs do is put me off working in kitchens!
