Painted how are things going at Painted Towers with CJ?

I have definitely unpacked his Bergen shall we say...currently wearing nothing but his osprey body armour jacket thumbs firmly tucked I am sure he will update his diary soon with events so far

Just spent an evening in the big smoke... Miss Saigon...the yanks portrayed did not wear their combats low slung like we appreciate them, although the amount of khaki was pleasant!

Just wanted to add to the previous comments rhub that was a terrific drawing together of all the plot lines!! At the end I was lol!!! You writers are really a talented bunch!! Be proud!!

BK you've certainly clocked up a few miles this week with escorting CJ around and then off to London! It's a good few years since I saw Miss Saigon. American khaki as good/not as good as our home grown stuff?

He was a pretty good houseguest but he was prone to sulking if he didn't get his own way. Can't forget what he was like on the journey up from Bath when I wouldn't let him drive....!

Hello everyone, glad to catch up again. Family Frank are scattered far and wide and I am settling in for an unprecedented stretch of time home alone. Bliss! I finally bought the DVD today and am looking forward to the OG fest ahead.

I am still way behind on the amazing stories, so can catch up on those tomorrow! Can't wait! Huge thanks to all you talented writers, I have no idea how you find the time.

Need some advice ladies. When CJ stayed with me for my birthday, I mentioned that when we go to Amsterdam next week, my friend and I are going to the bulbfields one day. He was adamant he wasn't going to come with us, but would spend the day catching up with some old army pal from when they had both been stationed on the Dutch/German border. Do you think he is trustworthy or, as soon as our backs are turned, is he likely to be legging it down to the red light district to sample other afternoon delights?

ilove I don't think he would. He knows he's on to a good thing with his UK tour and wouldn't want to jeopardise another tour by doing anything daft!

Yes frank I didn't know what the lyrics were about at the time either. Quite a cheeky little song for the time (I'm guessing it was late 1970's) and a few euphemisms that woof would be proud of. Still played on good old Radio 2 as well.
