Morning all. Torrential rain here and I was going to look after my friend's two little boys but they are both ill (quite a theme here) so will spend the morning making my cakes for work/my birthday next week. Do others take cakes in on their birthday? Need to find room in the freezer as well for them!

I can confirm that members of all 3 services are now using 'cockwomble'. DH had fun introducing it to one and all it seems.

Re the rolled up sleeves, I think with the caveat of 'everyone except politicians visiting hospitals' icemist. Nothing can make George Osborne attractive.

4 rooms! moojangles. The crap explosion that is me packing for a family of 3 can be contained in one room.

My poor washing machine won't know what's hit it when we get home. Even stuff that is technically clean will need some kind of wash as it's all damp from being packed in massive humidity.

DS has a friend in the reserves, cockwombles does seem to be part of the vocabulary these days .

When I was working many moons ago, there was a chap in the office who had the most gorgeous forearms, we girls went into meltdown when he came in with sleeves rolled up. I would add the rest of him was also very, very good to look at .

Forearms yes! Also agree with pixie though. Makes me cringe when politicians try to be 'one of us'. And George Osborne? Not my favourite MP by a long stretch.

PS pixie BK and I will be waiting to whisk CJ away tomorrow morning so no trying to disguise him or spirit him away by a secret door or anything......!

I have done my job well and CJ is nicely relaxed after his break. He's been fully briefed on his duties for the next few weeks. He's been revising the QS ff so knows what is expected of him. Fully tanned forearms at the ready.

4 rooms mooj! When DS came back from his DoE week that was bad, all damp stuff and musty. And when he did field craft with cadets that blood camo paint they put on their faces stained the bath! Good luck with the washing!

ilove is it tomorrow or Monday I get CJ? Was it a 24hr stop over (love fest)? I don't have a cupboard under the stairs, but I do have a "play room" (currently sofa bed and XBox) so I will spruce it up all ready :)

Richtea you can have him from tomorrow morning but you will need to get him on a train from Euston early Tuesday afternoon. Does that give you enough time? He will be my pre-birthday treat Tuesday night!
