Anyone else watch this?

Me - there are a lot of time wasters and people with far too much time on their hands tbh.

I'm mainly surprised how many people get to see a doctor. We'd never get in to see an actual doctor with vague symptoms.

Also the older male doctor with glasses. Full stop. He is very annoying. Full stop.

I was invited to a regular health check. I rarely go but the waiting room was full of old people. Honestly I think they have time on their hands to get appointments booked and time to attend open surgeries.

Having seen a few of these, people do seem to think the GPs have a golden ticket regardless of personal responsibility for their own health

Hmmm I'm not sure, most of the older people seem to have been in genuine need tbh....

I am looking at Hans.. Did we need so much detail. He obviously agreed to be filmed and was wallowing in this toilet issues - or maybe it's just me.....

Oh yeah he was a bit ..... Overly explicit. Odd.

Next week's trailer with the old fella taking about sexual diseases looks...interesting...

i thought it was a special appointment, for the TV cameras. the man with terminal liver cancer seems to be on eveyr week

Hans was given the all clear. Dont think the GPs have seen the last of him though. He really seemed to enjoy his 'illness'

I have a SIL, always thinks there is something wrong, one day there will be and no one will not believe her.

I stopped watching after last series when a man with a blister on his toe got 15mins of gushy sympathy.

He should have been dispatched asap/given very short shrift and told not to waste people's time. I could understand if he had learning difficulties or some issues that meant infection was a risk but this was a well dressed, obviously educated man who chose to waste NHS time over a BLISTER.

Half the patients seem to have just got something that could have been treated at home with common sense hygiene but no lets waste the Dr's time instead. The NHS is not for you to toddle off too for some attention when a quick dab of savlon and keeping it clean and dry is all that required. We even have Google now for fecks sake, google 'small blister care. Grrrr.

Mmmm, I agree, Hans is very deeply into his bowels, the description of thr sticky little splats was unnerving in its detail.

Dr Tim is hot though. I fully admit to mostly watching it for him, and the little involuntary faces he pulls.

Hans is on every week oversharing about his bumhole, poo consistency and wiping difficulties

I think a lot of the people featured would be better seeing someone like a social worker or nurse, rather than wasting the doctor's time and causing people with real illnesses to struggle to get appointments. I am thinking particularly of the couple who are featured almost every episode, they seem to just go to the doctor for a chat.

They must have to stifle a laugh with some of the patients.

Interesting to see the different doctor's approach. Some being more compassionate than others.

how do you lot know GPs dont actually have timewasting patients like this?

This kinda thing really pisses me off ...i am in my 20s got struck down with fucking nasty tonsillitis couldnt take ds to school. ...refused a home visit because it takes too much time away from the GP office ..However gillick competency comes into play a lot here adults with obvious LD Over sharing on TV, someone needs to step in like.SW etc.

The couple who go for a chat every week, I swing between being really annoyed that they are taking up so much time, and really quite unsure that they should even be shown. Either way, it's not a GP they need to be seeing.

The doctor on last week who has suffered from an eating disorder in the past seems really lovely. Hans and his poo complaints that feature every week

I find Hans and his detailed poo adventures really irritating. That GP has the patience of a saint.

I agree some people need to just go to the chemist or try googling.

GPs must need so much patience.

There is a couple that always make me smile though. They feature regularly and no matter what the problem or discussion the lady always turns the subject into something involving bums or genitals. Always makes me smile. This week they were discussing concerns of anuerisms and the GP drew a rough picture of a person to show where an Aortic Anuerism could be and the lady pointed to the groin area and said something about thats where the penis should be and you pee out of it. Its EVERY single week,she turns the subject around or points out similar.

I do wonder though if they should be shown. They seem fairly vulnerable!

The older Dr with glasses seemed a bit off last night! I didnt like his "bedside manner" at all. But then seeing what they put up with - he is only human!

The mousy dr man the other week who was saying the half of the chat couple the other week, 'well you're bellys bigger than mine' and the rude woman's dog, "i dont have one, and dont want one either"

Yes I know the couple you mean. It's a shame but I wonder if they have any other HCP involved? The man was very upset about a leaflet he'd had through the door - the GP helped but really it's not his job.

The woman who had depression this week was very close to the bone for me. I remember going with PND and when the doctors say 'come back in a month' it seems completely impossible.

Hans - I haven't noticed him before. It was all very odd I wonder if he has health anxiety?

The man who was complaining to the nurse about a doctor I didn't really understand? And yes, the rude woman was very rude.

The man who had terminal cancer last week was heartbreaking and he was his sons carer I think? Just devastating.
