Has the great Mary Portas just said that women are scared of going out on a test drive alone with a man because they are afraid of being raped or attacked?

I only saw the last 20 minutes of this programme, don't think Mary really understood. I work in a male-oriented environment similar to the one in the show, doubt a coffee machine and a yellow sofa will encourage women through the door......but as long as they saw sales improvements I suppose, shows how much I know!

Plus I always thought that the car sales people would be more nervous than the customers during a test drive. I asked a salesman recently if anyone had ever kicked him out and driven away with the car.......he looked but I was just curious!!
