Well, sort of!

It's on UK Gold and will be called "Jim'll Fix It: Now and Then", in the manner of the "Wogan" shows they have been doing.

Thing is, shouldn't it be "Jim'll Fix It: Now Then, Now Then..."?

Oh excellent! I LOVED Jim'll Fix It!!

HumphreyComfrey · 27/10/2006 10:21

Oh crap! I wrote to him in 1980 asking to be Wonder Woman for a day.

They've probably just got around to reading it!

mateychops · 27/10/2006 10:32

I wonder if he'll answer my letter and I'll get to meet Donny Osmond....

HumphreyComfrey · 27/10/2006 11:11

What do you bet they'll have the group of scouts who ate their dinner on The Revolution ride at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

Who will be more embarrassed - the ex Scouts or their children (and possibly grandchildren!)?

mateychops · 27/10/2006 12:22

Still make me chuckle, though

LadyHeatherMillsMcCartney · 27/10/2006 12:52

He never answered my letter either - batsard

MarsLady · 27/10/2006 12:56

I wonder if he'll fix it for me to have Jamie Foxx. Naked is good, tied to my bed is better! Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... wonder if I could have Clive Owen as well.

foulmoonfiend · 27/10/2006 13:00

I wrote to him once when i was 8. Couldn't make up my mind what i wanted most so asked to go horseback riding with ABBA, in disneyland with a tour of a choclate factory thrown in...wonder why he didn't pick my letter

RTKangaMummy · 27/10/2006 13:10

I loved Jim'll fix it

I wanted to swim with dolphins and I granted my own wish

I swam with wild ones in the ocean while we were in New Zealand, which was better than I would have done on the show because they were wild, they had the choice whether they wanted to swim with me iyswim

It was the most deffo brill experience

mateychops · 27/10/2006 13:33

TRKM, that's the one thing that I'd love to do in this life, I'm very, very jealous! And in the wild like that, you are very lucky to have had that experience.

Sophiev73 · 27/10/2006 13:34

I am very excited. Aged 9 I sat on the beanbags on Jim'll Fix It and I have never seen that episode... I'll be glued to see my 9 year old self - it may happen!!

mateychops · 27/10/2006 13:36

Sophie, I'd keep it quiet that you sat on Jimmy's beanbags if I was you....

HumphreyComfrey · 27/10/2006 13:37

Oh Sophie, my DH will be very jealous.

A group from his school were in the audience, and were told that they would be sitting on the beanbags - but when it came to filming, another group were already there!

He claims it has emotionally scarred him, and every birthday I am tempted to buy him a beanbag of his very own!
