What Are We Going To Do When David Attenborough Dies?

David Attenborough is like the patron saint of natural documentaries. The way he delivers his lines and in such a captivating way has inspired hundreds of people to get into nature.

When he dies, it'll be the end of an era...and is there anyone out there who can really compare to the great Attenborough?

Oh God what a depressing thought! There IS no one who compares.

I've often thought that Brian Cox is being primed to be the next David Attenborough. It won't be the same though.

Incidentally, it was only when watching programmes about 50 years of BBC 2 that I found out he used to be controller of BBC2.

I wonder this sometimes.
