and getting Niamh and Al back together.

Take a seat in reception.

OP posts:

Missed the end as my boss came and ate lunch in the staff room, got to zander blaming Al. Mrs T was grumpy today! We get people like that in work all the time our ,battle ax receptionist loves it. They talk to her and she ignores what they say and talks at them. Grin

madhairday · 22/04/2015 14:45

Return do you mean Valerie? I love her Grin

What was with Mrs T today? Face like thunder when that couple were on about Doctors of The Past. Was quite a trip down memory lane there. I liked George and Ronnie and Leaf or whatever their child was called Grin

TheReturnoftheSmartArse · 22/04/2015 15:51

Valerie, that's the one!

She was playing a Spanish caretaker - but was basically Valerie from Doctors.

And the picture in the programme must have been taken 20 years ago ...!

toldmywrath · 22/04/2015 17:27

Bracken was George & Ronnie's daughter.
Just watched yesterday's one. We had a very similar case quite local with a young male teacher abducting his 15 yr old pupil 'girlfriend' to France-luckily they were spotted by a member of the public. He gets out of prison in August this year I believe. Shock

cinnamongreyhound · 22/04/2015 20:07

I enjoyed the walk down memory lane, although how could he love Ruth Confused

Love that he was named because of buffy, I LOVED Buffy! Why isnit never repeated on TV? I could probably pick up a box set cheap Grin

Niamh and Al are made for each other and agree that the relationship wasn't thought out at all, Niamh couldn't have formed that much of a friendship with the godson who we've never heard of before!

Angelto5 · 22/04/2015 21:57

I'm also a huge Buffy fan cinnamon & have the box set(managed to get mine for £30 from cex).
I agree with Al & Niamh that the musical one is one of the best.
I think it's still being shown on Syfy channel.

tadpole39 · 22/04/2015 22:30

Buffy was the best, just watched it from start to finish with my dd14 fab seeing through new eyes, although the scenes with spike were racy to say the leastBlush

AnneEyhtMeyer · 23/04/2015 00:02

Back from hols and caught up on Doctors! Yay! Just watching today's.

Board game had to be a Doctors construct - it was fab!

The baby thing is going to tip Jimmi over the edge into remembering his OCD. TBFE better be stocking up on handwash.

I think the Zara thing is believable because she has always been vulnerable. She just uses her bitchy persona as a shell. And she has fabulous lines!

So glad Barry is safe.

Loved Mrs T's face today when she squirmed at the man mentioning the scandal of Kate and the priest!

Loving the trip down memory lane today, although I have just had to pause it to complain on here at the lack of realism of the man saying his favourite receptionist was Ruth. That can't be true of any of the (dozen) patients. Obviously the correct answer to "who was the best receptionist?" is Donna. No question.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 23/04/2015 00:08

Dr Woodson! Loved George, Ronnie and Bracken.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 23/04/2015 00:10

Loved Karen's "highly unlikely" comment at the remembering ten years ago question!

I love Doctors!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 23/04/2015 00:18

The Al / 25 year old teenager storyline is rubbish.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 23/04/2015 21:06

Best thing about today's was Evil Heather's collapse. I haven't read any spoilers yet so I am hoping she is dead. And that it is contagious and 6tl also has it.

I am reluctant to read the spoilers in case they reveal she survives.

cinnamongreyhound · 23/04/2015 21:46

I feel a bit thick that I haven't figured out what's wrong with her, feel as though they've been giving us hints with her symptoms. MrsT was still grumpy today, until Heston blew off the Italian woman!

Who was the woman in red undies (very familiar)? And will she back to start a relationship with the real Howard Bellamy?

I'd feel very rude to give anyone a 6 out of 10 Shock

toldmywrath · 23/04/2015 22:02

It was Claire (married to Ashley the butcher) from Corrie- I recognised her voice!
I must say Anne you appear to be lacking compassion vis a vis Heather (& 6tl) Grin

toldmywrath · 23/04/2015 22:04

Anyone else snigger at BJ (before Julia?) or is it me? (yesterday's 10year anniversary one) I really liked Sarah the receptionist & Donna of course.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 23/04/2015 22:13

Just read the spoilers. Gutted.

toldmywrath · 23/04/2015 22:38

Hmm I'm guessing that they survive then Anne

AnneEyhtMeyer · 23/04/2015 22:48

Sadly yes, told.

I thought I was being very compassionate, told, after all, I could have wished them a painful, lingering death, but no, I hoped for something instantaneous.

toldmywrath · 24/04/2015 03:45

Grin & yes I'm awake at stupid o'clock!

cinnamongreyhound · 24/04/2015 10:03

I was awake then too toldmywrath but guessig for differing reasons Wink

toldmywrath · 24/04/2015 12:51

Funnily enough I did wonder if mums with new born were awake -well not wondered but guessed as it's almost inevitable! I'm catching up with rest today but have not managed to snooze yet -that will probably happen when Doctors is on Smile

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 24/04/2015 13:55

Anyone here? First time I've watched since Easter.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 24/04/2015 14:01

What's going on with Gobby and the statue?

tadpole39 · 24/04/2015 14:17

Why did heather not ask if the baby was ok when she woke up? And why was that patient wearing that weird lacy neck blouse? Is she dressing up as an academic?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 24/04/2015 14:36

Just watched today's.

Statue was funny. I love Al and Gobby together.

Such shame that Heather didn't die.
