and getting Niamh and Al back together.

Take a seat in reception.

Love Al.

One of Mrs T's hats! The writers definitely read this thread.

Maybe Mrs T can marry Al.

Poor Zara, she's struggling a bitSad

She is trying to juggle a lot of things with Jimmi being in love and utterly crap as a partner. Her childminder is heartless!!!!!

Raahh · 18/03/2015 14:14

I've decided there is definitely something of the 'Single White Female' about Heather.

She is definitely a serial killer.

I might have been watching too many repeats of 'Wire in the Blood'Grin

It was odd, do yor girly night and bond and then go or with you bloke tomorrow evening not combine the too Confused

Raahh · 18/03/2015 14:16

cinnamon- they were dancing, 6tl decided she was too old for it (despite the fact I'm sure she's not actually nearly as old as she looks)- and she said she'd rather have chocolate and sat down. Stalky shot her a 'I hate you, you withered old caaahh, spoiling the party' look. Grin

Love the description Raahh!

I have just seen this again with DD1- and I'm wondering what the point of the gay wedding was? Did the father say he had a problem with gay people? I don't know why she didn't tell he dad that Sam was a woman? Or did something vital happen in the very beginning 15 seconds after the credits I missed? It all seemed a bit pointless. Are lesbians more susceptible to diphtheria?

Because everything else about Doctors is always so essential to the plotGrin

Are lesbians more susceptible to diphtheria? Good question Raahh, snort Grin
My ds1 only had the first whooping cough vaccine because he had a severe reaction to it.All the other vaccines were OK, thankfully.

toldmywrath · 18/03/2015 18:00

I hope the Zara childminder problems aren't leading up to her deciding to leave Doctors. She could surely afford a nanny & to go part time.

Raahh · 18/03/2015 18:37

told well exactly- even with the money they put into being partners, the dual income of two gps has got to be a fair whack. Unless Daniel is paying huge amounts of child support for Izzy.

They live in Leatherbridge, not KensingtonGrin

OP posts:

And there is the Grainger clinic- that must make a fair bob from all the bo-toxed tennis set.

I will be gutted if Zara and Daniel leave. I'll be almost as upset as I was when George & Ronnie left. In fact I've never forgiven them for going.

Haven't seen today's yet but have read this thread anyway as usual. I was married on a Tuesday. In Vegas so the day didn't matter.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 18/03/2015 20:05

Have just watched today's. I did keep thinking I'd missed a bit. Couldn't really work out the logic of the lesbian wedding thing. Announcing your husband to be is actually your wife to be at the wedding is always going to go so much better than than doing it before. Not.

Raahh · 18/03/2015 20:19

Rafa - exactly! It was like the writers thought 'shit! we haven't had a gay character for at least a week, let's shoehorn one in for no reason'.

Anne- I have a friend who married in Vegas- I was very jealous.

There should be Doctors themed wedding packages- you can get married in the reception areaof the Mill, with Mrs T as celebrant and Jimmi singing , wedding breakfast at the Icon, evening do at 6tl's Grin

and TBFE can do his Elvis impression!

Missed today as I was on a thrilling tour of one of our suppliers in Milton Keynes. Grin am off to bed now as I am I'll so probably won't watch again until next week. Bit rubbish at being a doctor's devotee!

Raahh · 18/03/2015 20:38

curly- you could miss 6 weeks and still understand as much as those who watch every day.

Such is the appeal of Doctors.

OP posts:
AnneEyhtMeyer · 18/03/2015 20:41

Raahh I would have definitely booked that Doctors themed wedding.

Although I would have paid the extra fee for Jimmi not to sing.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 18/03/2015 20:54

I'd book a doctors themed wedding.

Raahh, I've decided to watch the current ones while catching up with the three weeks I've missed. Todays was more plausible than holding surgery in an army tent. Really can't see that being allowed. Also, how did Mrs T not know her vaccination history. Surely in a patient facing role they would have insisted on proof or revaccinated her when she started the job?

Raahh · 18/03/2015 21:01

rafa- I think we expect far too much of our favourite WTF soapGrin

OP posts:
HarveySchlumpfenburger · 18/03/2015 21:04

Yes I realise that. I need to get back to understanding the nature of WTF after a break. The tent is going to bother me for a while though.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 18/03/2015 21:08

Curly - hope you feel better soon. I only watch about once a fortnight at the moment and still manage to keep up.

Raahh · 18/03/2015 21:09

The tent really was something else.

I suspect it was thought up by a writer who grew up watching MAS*H and then ended up writing for the likes of Doctors and Doc Martin Grin

OP posts:
HarveySchlumpfenburger · 18/03/2015 21:20

Curly, I agree with WhoKnows, once a week is probably enough. I'm only catching up because having plodded through all the FFF stuff I've missed the end of it all.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 18/03/2015 21:40

I missed the end of FFF, you'll have to tell me what happened! Also has Val gone again?

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 18/03/2015 22:54

That bit I've seen. She got 'headhunted' to be a drug rep after the election. Not sure if that story carries on though.
