Jimmi's new gf is very odd, but she reminds me of someone from a 90's indie band and I can't think who. Mrs mcluskey is still playing the same part! Zara must be furious being called Al's Secretary Tomorrow looks interesting with a gunman on the loose and another new plod.

Who's Elaine Raahh?

Elaine used to be a doctor at the Mill- she specialised in counselling people. We used to joke she had bean bags for sitting on- she was a bit lentil weaver-y. She also used to wear the most alarming necklaces- big pointy lethal looking things.

She had a long affair with a police inspector(I think he was) who turned out to be a serial killer.

I liked Elaine

She was played by Janet Dibley- who was in WPC 56, this afternoon.

Just imdb'd Janet Dibley & instantly recognised her from the 80's programme "the two of us" when she played another Elaine with Nicholas lyndhurst playing her husband.I used to love watching it!

I loved 'The Two of Us' too- there seemed to be a time when Nicholas Lyndhurst was in everything.

I think JD might have been in Eastenders too- but I could have dreamt that.

I also loved "Watching". Can still remember the theme tune!

Watching was great- funny how the woman in it never did anything else. I think she became a nurse or something!

I loved patsy Byrne as Malcolm's mom. Her best character though has to be nursey in black adder with Miranda Richardson as the queen.

Also Brenda's mom who was adamant as soon as her son was of age he was going into the army!

Ah now I know why you were all talking about Mrs mcClusky, didn't realise it was from today's episode!! Loved the patient and Al storyline today, made me smile a lot!

I know I can't beleive it toldmywrath but to be fair even if it had been a home visit I wouldn't have been able to watch anyway
