I can't wait! I love medical drama Grin

EverySingleTime · 24/02/2015 20:18

Thanks I just put a reminder on. Looks great.

SoftKittyWarmKitty · 24/02/2015 20:30

I've already series linked this, so I hope it's good Grin. Just watching Holby as a warm up.

Belindabelle · 24/02/2015 21:53

Bloody Hell!

I am totally traumatised watching this.

TourGuideBarbie · 24/02/2015 21:59

I thought it was amazing!

ILikeToClean · 24/02/2015 22:12

Yes I think it's going to be good. As a complete lay person in medical terms I was struck by how high tech it was and wanted to know more about who's who professionally (what did all their badges mean?!) but quite liked the way it focused on the medical aspect rather than the characters but just gave you an inkling of their personalities, no doubt more to be revealed...

Finbar · 24/02/2015 22:24

OMG stand clear - am in shock! That chest surgery....

Heifer · 24/02/2015 23:15

I watched episodes 1 & 2 earlier today - I have no idea how come it's on Sky Demand before it's aired but it is. I watched the 1st one and had to take a break before the 2nd as I was so traumitised! But it is just sooo good.

NiceCupOfTeaAndALittleSitDown · 25/02/2015 00:04

Glad to have found this thread, I loved it! Wasn't convinced at the start but think I might be hooked especially with Lennie James making an appearance. Will be interesting to see how they keep it varied over the series, but interesting character development already.

TheDetective · 25/02/2015 00:29

I enjoyed it. They clearly spent time where I work Shock. The 'activate the major haemorrhage protocol' scene was just so bloody realistic! I'm not going to say any more than that! Grin

Been looking for something to replace Grays Anatomy for me! Think this will do!

WhyDoesEveryoneHateMe · 25/02/2015 01:28

I just watched ep 1 then had to look up ep 2 straight away! Unfortunately dd then woke up so I am now on the iPad in bed. Kids! Grin I think it is going to be great!

TourGuideBarbie · 25/02/2015 07:46

How do I watch episode two? Can I not watch it if I have Virgin?

Ellenora5 · 25/02/2015 15:15

I have it recorded, was in two minds as to whether or not to watch it but I'm convinced now after reading this thread Smile I gave up on Grey's years ago when they had an all singing episode Sad

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 25/02/2015 18:17

I have it recorded ready to watch too...

NotPennysBoat · 26/02/2015 15:47

Hm I'm not convinced after episode 1. Don't mind the graphic scenes but found the dialogue all a bit too over my head and not enough about who's who. Willing to persevere with ep2 in the hope we get some more background so marking place!

getdownshep · 27/02/2015 12:59

I wasn't impresse

susiedaisy · 27/02/2015 16:12

I watched it, didn't instantly warm to any of the characters but thought it was very realistic. Not sure what was the matter with matey in CT, spraying his screen because someone knocked on it? Did I miss them looking all over his body for any other injuries when he arrived in trauma dept that way they would of spotted the stab wound.

AuntieMaggie · 27/02/2015 16:19

ooh I liked it too but thought the only thing lacking was clarity about who was who and what their jobs were

NickiFury · 27/02/2015 16:20

But is it as good as ER? nothing ever will beSad

basildonbond · 27/02/2015 19:50

Anyone else irritated by the ridiculous amounts of perfectly applied makeup worn by all the female doctors and nurses? Doesn't bear much resemblance to any A&E department I've ever been in Hmm

susiedaisy · 27/02/2015 22:55

Yes they were all very well presented weren't they.
I did smile at the twix eating scene. It's like that on our ward if you dare to leave chocolate unattended for any length of time someone will claim it. Grin

Lara2 · 01/03/2015 11:45

Just watched episode 2 - loved it! I think it has lots of potential - the bureaucracy is unbelievable! But I don't understand what a nurse consultant is or why she's bossing everyone around? And what's the history between Fiona and Guy???? Very intrigued!

Lara2 · 01/03/2015 11:47

Sorry, Glenn, not Guy!

FallenAngel22 · 01/03/2015 21:56

Just watched both episodes now and loved it. Would love to know what positions some of the badges they wear are. Also had to do a double take as thought James Corden was in it!
