Yea really.

They've dragged this out far too long and I don't even know that kid that suddenly popped up!

As for dragging out all these old characters. Ridiculous!

Nope, not bothered who killed Lucy.

Haven't watched Eastenders in years. It's utter shite.

Behooven · 21/02/2015 01:16

Me, I've never watched and I don't know who these characters are. But every other TV and raidio programme on the BBC, it's all they can talk about.
Bored.

ppeatfruit · 21/02/2015 13:48

Oooh was Loose Women good Shelagh? Grin

ppeatfruit · 21/02/2015 13:52

I caught a bit yesterday, accidentally, and the script is still shite with dreadful acting. Why anyone watches such utter depressing stuff I will never know! Isn't the news depressing enough?

ShelaghTurner · 21/02/2015 16:15

ppeatfruit Loose Women was depressingly dreary shite. But Mr McGann at close range...be still my beating heart. Blush . I don't care if it's all a showbiz act. He was twinkly and crinkly and smiley and charming and floppy haired and I squeeeeed like a love struck teenager. Do I care that I embarrassed myself? Not a jot! I floated home on air.

SirChenjin · 21/02/2015 16:19

Me - less of a fuck I could not give.

'Stenders has been a regular feature in our house ever since DH discovered it about a year ago. If you knew DH you'd be as Confused as everyone else is who knows him - but he's been glued to the TV this week, and triumphantly announced that he knew it was the little boy all along (can't remember what his name his)

TheHappinessTrap · 21/02/2015 16:20

I didn't know there was a Lucy or that she'd been murdered BUT now I do want to know. Not enough to watch the show, as I'm not a fan, but hype has made me curious. I don't of course think the answer to the question would give me anything new and positive in my life.

ppeatfruit · 21/02/2015 16:46

Did all the others get gooey too Shelagh Grin? Did he say anything interesting?

Davros · 21/02/2015 18:08

Angie and Den's dog was Roly.
I used to love EE years ago (remember it starting) butwgen we had kids it was on at exactly the wrong time, bath/bedtime. By the time I could watch soaps again they were on ALL the time, not the two half hours a week like they used to be - unmanageable! So I don't have anything against EE as such, just can't spare the hours and hours needed to keep up. My DSis is a regular watcher and is utterly sick to death of the murder/death and it may drive her to give up. Great ratings winner in the long term - not!

iklboo · 21/02/2015 18:43

Apparently on one of the live shows an actress called a character by his real name by mistake - and she & the other actress totally froze. I've only done am dram & I could have ad libbed my way out of that without a beat. And these people are being paid £££.

EvansOvalPiesYumYum · 21/02/2015 18:50

Hate EE too - really couldn't give a flying fig about any soap, TBH. Just wish EE could disappear into a great big hole. BUT it's all very well trying to avoid it, yet it is thrust under your nose at every opportunity. It made BBC news the other day. FFS!!!! Surely there is something more interesting to talk about. You watch the news hoping to escape such dross, but NO - there it is again. I hope Lucy Beale and her killer, and any acquaintances and cohorts all go and FUCK THEMSELVES. GET OUT OF MY LIFE you pratfaces.

Ferguson · 21/02/2015 22:49

I have NEVER watched EE. On the odd occasion I do happen across a couple of minutes because I am early for something I DO want, it is invariably ugly people snarling and cursing at each other.

I forget who said it, but I seem to recall a quote: "No one ever lost money by underestimating the public."

fussychica · 22/02/2015 10:09

Who's Lucy????

Only kidding - it's bloody headline news on the BBC home page and just about every other site so unfortunately it's in my face EVERYWHERE - just piss off.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 23/02/2015 15:51

I dont watch soaps, they mind numbingly dull to me.

Take corrie, everyone has either, been nearly murdered/murdered/died in accident or been in prison for some reason or another.

BuzzardBird · 23/02/2015 15:56

Was it Bobby Ewing?

ppeatfruit · 24/02/2015 16:20

I accidentally caught a bit of it yesterday or the day before and it seems to be based on an Agatha Christie plot in which EVERYONE killed her. The script writers are sooooo crap.
