Watched the Good Friday episode. Shine bright like a diamond was the song playing when Lucy walked away from the Square, which is why it's on all the trailers.

  1. Only thing about it being Bobby, can't imagine Emma having that chat in the park with him, unless it was with Jane who was speaking to Emma talking about covering Bobby. Is that possible/ would it fit?
  1. There was something I saw somewhere about there being another body on the square by the end of the week. Obviously, there's Nick. But then I thought, Bradley died last time. Do you think another person will die tonight?
tobee · 19/02/2015 10:24

Ooooh, good thinking headless. Abi "reveal" on Tuesday a double bluff.

Justmuddlingalong · 19/02/2015 10:26

I think I might die, if it's a rubbish conclusion, after all the time I've invested. Smile

Brutalista · 19/02/2015 10:31

Isn't stan supposed to cop it soon?
Shame, Timothy West has been fabulous.

BeCool · 19/02/2015 10:37

I'm going to have to get some nice snacks in for tonight's EE marathon!
And drink - G&T's I think.
I'll wear some large earrings and a tight top. :)

Mrsjayy · 19/02/2015 10:41

Richard Blackwood has just said on this morning that he is in the flashback episode see if it's him I think enders will have a riot on their hands demented viewers storming elstree

Mrsjayy · 19/02/2015 10:43

You need to get some comedy boobs like kat for the full experience

BeCool · 19/02/2015 10:44

oh please no - I don't think EE would do all this build up, anniversary celebrations etc and then say "oh it's that strange man over there you've never see before".

Would they?

Nah .... Hmm

BeCool · 19/02/2015 10:44

Built in! Just need to find the right bra

QueenFuri · 19/02/2015 10:46

Has anyone seen the spoilers in the Daily Fail about Dean? I think its going to be non stop drama tonight in the episode then the flashback I don't think I have ever been so excited over a tv programme before I can't wait! Still have no clue who the killer is.. I think they all played a part or it was Cindy and the family cover for her realizing it was an accident that's why Peter leaves as they are all sticking up for her.

Mrsjayy · 19/02/2015 10:50

Nah you are right it would nt be some random bloke whodunit,

BeCool · 19/02/2015 10:54

Today is the first day I've started to think about Jane getting her hands on a baby (suggested upthread) and I think that has something to do with it. I never understood why she would do a 360 turn and come back and marry Ian. She had Bobby pretty much to herself already. Ian's son Steven was responsible for her not having kids and wasn't Lucy involved in that injury/incident too?

I think that accident and her immense loss changed her fundamentally and has something do do with Lucy's death.

youarekiddingme · 19/02/2015 11:00

RB could be the drug dealer? He said in GN show he's got money and not your usual character.

AliceinWinterWonderland · 19/02/2015 11:06

I think Lauren's card means Beale's home - after all, that appears to be what she told Peter, that Lucy was killed in their home, hence him going off at Ian and Jane.

Puzzlers though...
If Peter, why would he confront Ian and Jane?
If Cindy and any of the Beale family knew it and helped cover it up, what would be the point of the music box at Christmas?
If Abi, then wouldn't Lauren's reaction be a bit different? Loved, not "cared".
If Max, then same applies as with Lauren.
So... possibility that Lauren doesn't have it quite right?
If Bobby, I think the police officer's response would be much different - surely she'd be more concerned about where he was and the texting wouldn't make much sense, unless it was Jane texting back and forth with her.
But then, Lauren seems cagey, so I could see that if she thought Peter either killed Lucy or was involved, she might not be able to have his baby (in her mind, anyway). So there is that thought too.

Yup. Full circle. Still could be anyone. Hmm

AliceinWinterWonderland · 19/02/2015 11:07

Maybe it's an "I know what you did last summer" type of situation where there are a number of characters involved....

Mrsjayy · 19/02/2015 11:14

The Mitchell boys were on This Morning they are in flashbacks too everybody and their d8g is going to be in the bloody flashbacks

SpanishFly · 19/02/2015 11:15

LuluJakey1 Lauren thinks it happened at home because Emma's pieces of paper had written on it "SOC" and a phone number. SOC = Scene of Crime, and Lauren knew the phone number, so I assume it was Peter's home phone nbr

Brutalista · 19/02/2015 11:17

I'm at home sick today and watching the first episode - such a treat! But the racism Shock no wonder there's a disclaimer at the start.

Love Naima in the shop "I think pease pudding is a bit like a British dahl"

tobee · 19/02/2015 11:18

Right, I've had to turn down a curry out with my dh and ds tonight. So, what should I eat instead that would be Eastenders appropriate? So far all I've come up with is vol au vents and either Chardonnay (channeling Jane and Tanya) or double vodka ( more Kat and Kirsty style)

GallicIsCharlie · 19/02/2015 11:21

I've caught up on the thread and am changing my bet to Cindy. It fits her character profile - I love the way she's so contained, and looks cynical all the time. I think it was a joint action on the whole, though, with Ben & Jay & Abbie implicated as well. Lucy was an awful prat, Ben's a known murderer and Abbie's increasingly unstable.

I thought the Lauren actor did a great job of being tense & scared - though I guess that was easy with it being live!

Who's the black guy that kept popping up? I knew I was supposed to recognise him, but can't place him at all and he isn't mentioned here.

Am totally pissed off that Dean isn't going to trial. I do think they've handled the rape story well, and it is realistic for charges to be dropped, but still ...

BeCool · 19/02/2015 11:22

they all live on chips and wedding cake don't they?

Abi said it twice.
Peter & Lucy's birthdate - so say it twice, one for each of them?

GallicIsCharlie · 19/02/2015 11:26

Tobee - McKlunkey's fried chicken & chips, a few cans of beer then half a bottle of neat vodka. And wear your Christmas earrings.
