I've been watching the good wife which I did enjoy but really bored of it now on season 3. Quite enjoyed orange is the new black, loved Suits and the U.S. office. Loved Orphan Black and Dexter but am a bit wet and started to find it really upsetting when the stuff about him as a child came out. I'm also feeding in the middle of the night in a room far away from everyone and am a scaredy cat so can't have anything potentially scary! Any suggestions?? TIA

I've watched Gray's Anatomy from series 1- 10 in the last year - it is light and fluffy but easy to watch!

Purplecircle · 14/02/2015 18:32

Another vote for Greys anatomy.
I plan to work through six feet under next

mamato3luvleys · 14/02/2015 18:37

Me n my dp have just started watching fortitude have got right into it but only had 3 episodes to watch!!

highriggs · 14/02/2015 18:38

The office, the American one on Netflix
There are 9 series and very addictive

highriggs · 14/02/2015 18:39

Oh just saw you had seen that, sorry !

Mixtape · 14/02/2015 18:39

Damages on Netflix, another legal drama. I love The Good wife, but there is more action in Damages.

ICanTuckMyBoobsInMyPockets · 14/02/2015 18:40

Another vote for Greys Anatomy.
And Arrested Development is good, but don't watch the last series as it completely ruins the rest of it.

Hypotenuse · 14/02/2015 18:43

Gilmore Girls is so soft and I love it!

Heroes (a little scary potentially in the first series)

Green Wing is fantastic.

Chuck.

Big Bag Theory.

Rosedust · 14/02/2015 18:46

Another vote for Chuck - it's great! Currently halfway through season 4 on Netflix Smile

Artistic · 14/02/2015 19:11

House of Cards - very clever political drama

Mad men - 60s ad world drama

Scandal - a bit mad & fast romance/white house story

mrspuddleduckie · 14/02/2015 20:38

GREYS. this should last months. It's the best ever. ever ever.

enjoy :)

MonstersIncq · 15/02/2015 06:54

You are all fab thanks so much.

Used to be a devoted greys follower but got bored of the latest series. Kepner and Jackson!?!?

I've covered downtown abbey which I wasn't expecting to like but loved
Sherlock Holmes
Mr selfridge
I fancy the bridge next which is meant to be excellent

puppy123 · 15/02/2015 07:08

Parks and recreation is fab, bear with it in season one, gets a lot funnier!

Kerberos · 15/02/2015 07:45

West Wing. It's on Sky downloads at the moment if you are a Sky subscriber.

nightswift · 15/02/2015 23:53

You could have a Scandi fest!

The Bridge imo is the best one and you have two fab series.

I really enjoyed Borgen too but DH got bored with it. And of course there is the original Kiiling 1-3. All great in their own unique way.

nightswift · 15/02/2015 23:55

Oh, and Nashville which is my guilty pleasure - love the all the songs!

BertieBotts · 15/02/2015 23:59

Modern Family, there is bloody loads of it and it's funny.

Community if you are at all geeky.

Parenthood if you like having your emotions ripped out, stamped on, and then sewn back together Grin (not scary or even that sad, just cheesy, good though)

Fringe is excellent, on a par with Orphan Black but it does have jumpy/gory parts in almost every episode. They don't actually harm any children, though, if that's the part which bothers you. I think there was one episode I found scary but it was right in series 3 or 4, if you get that far you'll be too hooked to worry about scary Wink

MonstersIncq · 17/02/2015 07:45

Thanks so much for the suggestions.

puppy am already a major parks And rec fan. It's dantadtic.

Have been watching community which suits really well for something light late at night. Trying to give the good wife another chance as well.

Excited to try everyone's suggestions! Hope they're all available on prime/Netflix!

I'm going to watch Bosch on Amazon Prime next - it is an adaptation of the books by Michael Connelly, which I love reading.

ISingSoprano · 17/02/2015 08:04

Another vote for Mad Men.

TreadSoftlyOnMyDreams · 18/02/2015 17:42

The West Wing will get you through ages 0-2 I should think. There are flipping hundreds of episodes.
Lord of the Rings, directors cut though a fair bit of noisy fighting which is not so good in the dead of night.
Borgen/scandi stuff I found great as you are watching it in subtitles anyway so you can watch with the sound turned on really low
There's lots of free stuff on 4oD - C4 made dramas that are years and years old.

Can you get to sleep quickly after the feed though? Watching TV / screen use late at night isn't supposed to be very good for your sleeping patterns. Reading books on an iphone while BFing in the dead of night has completely screwed my eyesight though.

thenewbrunette · 26/02/2015 18:37

Another vote for Modern Family here, just hilarious!

Oscarandelliesmum · 28/02/2015 10:07

Ooh ooh, watch Hart of Dixie. It has almost no peril of any kind. I have the same viewing criteria as you and it is very easy watching. No one gets gruesomely killed or deals Meth. Just southern happiness. Like a warm Northern Exposure. Sadly I am out of episodes so trawling for something new..... Might try Grey's anatomy.
