Well that just wins hands down painted CJ, Jens diagrams, swivel chair and some good vibrations heaven

They coped because I made a beef curry yesterday and they had microwave rice! DH was in early, which helped. I loved it, I felt like me again. RichTea, and not mummy or wife, and (whispers...) I've opened up my own bank account for my salary .

painted you certainly kept the best til last. No wonder CJ's reduced to a collection of cardboard tubes. Swiveling and vibrating probably contravenes European legislation.

It's become clear that that swivel chair is a specialist order. Delivered in discreet plain packaging.

Richtea so glad your first day was successful and that you are back in the workplace. I can't remember if the job is full time or not? You'll have to keep your eyes open for any CJ clones! Is that possible or is he unique? Definitely no CJ lookalikes in my office!

Changing the subject slightly from swivel chairs, who else on here watches Bluestone 42? I didn't think I would like it despite somebody's recommendations (can't remember who) and the first episode I watched (which was either on iPlayer or YouTube, can't remember that either) didn't really float my boat but I've been recording the new series and it's growing on me. The Captain is very nice looking but a bit of an idiot but the whole thing is so daft it makes me laugh. There are one or two rather annoying squaddies on it (who are clearly meant to be annoying) but overall it's a pleasant enough viewing.

ilove I really got into bluestone, after OG. I don't find any of the characters particularly fanciable in a CJ kind of way, but I do find it really funny!! And I like the interaction between the captain and padre, she's brilliant at keeping him at arms length, and has some really good lines I think.

Nickel now I remember! You were the one who told me to look for the Christmas special on YouTube or iPlayer! Must admit, I have laughed out loud on a number of occasions and actually surprised myself! The Colonel is a bit of a pompous ar&e but I guess the writers were portraying all officers as idiots.

I reckon, and all squaddies as fun loving, arsonistic, sex crazed idiots!! Kinda!!!! :)

Godalmighty, I seriously want that chair!!!! With the vibration, the stag, the stiff legs (only the legs?), and the fingerless arms...(where do you put the combat gloves, on the tubes?)

I am into bluestone42, I watched it already on youtube but now re-watch it via iplayer when commuting. I am the lunatic standing up at the end of the train on the northern line, laughing histerically. The Major is actually one of my favourites (the 2 Scottish squaddies...i confess I have to put subtitles on ;-)

Ep 5 is definitely worth watching, isn't it cherin. I do like the captain :) in a rupert kind of way!?!

Is this episode 5 of the latest series? Or something from the previous series?

I'm a BS42 watcher since it was recommended on here Ilove I like the silliness then sudden serious life or death situations, which they always shake off with yet more silliness. Not your usual sitcom but still v.funny.

I'm not happy that painteds got not only a super duper luxury leather giant executive swivel chair AND shelf-rest, but it's a vibrator too. It's simply not on. By the time CJ gets to me he'll be totally sh I mean fragged and there'll be no swivel left for me. I feel very disappointed if I'm to be left off the shelf as it were rather than on it, sigh.

Yep Ep 5 could easily be re-enacted on painteds super swivel chair whilst vibrating, grrr, but I'm not bitter.

Aw cjwoof, we'll just have to discuss the running (?!) order at the AGM ... maybe painted can bring her super duper swivel chair :)

rhubarb I've just caught up on your latest chapter. It's just brilliant. I love the way you write, the story just flows and you fill it with such detail that I can just imagine myself there with the characters. You are truly a fantastic writer. Well done.

lola just hilarious, I didn't watch Broadchurch tonight but I know when I do watch it, I'm going to be thinking of your FF!, which is a whole lot better :)
