Just back from the end of term assembly...a recorder recital. Very squeaky :)
Have done a bit of tidying, might Hoover in a bit.
Will mostly be watching tv I think...Charlie brooker recorded come last night.

AND I HAD A TOM BURKE DREAM LAST NIGHT!!!!!

Was a bit odd though. We must have been students, because there were a whole load of us laying on a huge bed watching a film on TV (in a none naughty way). Someone was laying inbetween us so he put his hand up behind his head and was playing with my hair and then my fingers under a pillow. Then the person was gone and he was stroking my skin above my waistband and slowly tickling me. All in a no-one else knows and can see type way. Then he caught my eye and gave me a look, you know, one of those I-must-fuck-you-now looks. After that we were in another room slowly getting undressed but kept being interuppted by people coming in or asking for things. And then it fucking ended.

So nice but unfulfilled. . All that wasted time tickling FFS.

In other news stripped all the beds this morning so have a huge pile of washing to work through and have the Beetle Drive thingy today, but it finishes at 7.30 so even allowing for tidying up I will be home for MUSKETEERS!!!! I better fucking be

Awww postie has just been and delivered my Valentine card from my Dad. He has sent me one every year since I was about 6. It'll be the only one I get

Aww MrsB that's sweet!!! At your DH though, how hard is it to get a bloody card?

DH and I are not massively into Valentines or anniversary's or anything (think I'll be away on our wedding anniversary this year! ) but usually get a card and flowers, and maybe a nice meal at home. Actually prefer day to day romance, like cup of tea in bed or washing the car for you!

Oooh, MrsB we have steak in the fridge waiting for tomorrow. Do you think I should clear the dining table so we can eat there instead of balancing plates on our knees in front of the TV ignoring each other ?

We'll probably be eating in front of the TV Helen. Mainly because the dining table has a whole pile of crap on it I can't be arsed to move. I might stick a candle on the kitchen table but we will probably watch a film and eat at the same time. If we wait until after we have eaten one of us will just fall asleep anyway .

We've been together 25 years this Easter, so we stopped doing Valentines Day.......right about after we got married.

Lyndie your DH is very well trained. Can you clone him?

My theory is you only dream about desires, worries, and everyday stuff mixed up with random mad shit - stuff you would never waste time or consider thinking about consciously. e.g. Greg Wallace doing the school run for you, your dc's PE teacher coming on to you.

So the reason most of us never have a decent muskedream is that our conscious minds are clearly constantly fucking thinking about them.

Afternoon all! It's Friday!!!!

It's chucking it down here and of course I left the Spouse in charge of getting the washing out (inset day, he's working from home), and I ahve to go to the PO. May wait in case the rain lessens.

Haven't got anything planned for tomorrow but think ds1 might press us into to doing something to mark the day. Already was intending to make a chicken liver ragu and we've got a cake sale next week, so will be baking anyway. May just do an extra chocolate cake, timed to come out at pudding, and make some ice-cream, possibly rose flavoured in honour of the day. Plus we just happen to have a bottle of bubbly left over from our Burns Supper, and the last two ep of Smiley's People to watch. I see a plan coming together (wishes there was a stroking chin icon)

For valentines day, Im thinking the Bourne Legacy (which is on tv) and takeaway sushi. Dp had made noises about us going out, but has not gone so far as to contact the babysitter, so I doubt thats going to happen.

I think valentines day is basically bollocks, but since we dont celebrate an anniversary (as we cant agree / have never agreed on when it is), I always kind of feel we should do something on valentines day as compensation.

Washing is out on the line now - windy and not raining here. Think it's coming from the west from what I remember of the weather forecast.

We will probably watch Dark Knight to get it off the sky box and clear some space. #Romantic I may have to turn my laptop off for the night as well
