Good luck with the house move Elk - don't worry about Athos, he'll be Fiiiiinnnneeee

I have officially done fuck all today. Which is nice. I might put the Bafta's on but might not. I do need to stop eating sweets as I've eaten my body weight in Maom today. Which isn't good. Oh well. Tomorrow is another day.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/02/2015 21:02

Oh look - people Grin
Comtess Yes, I too am reading nonny War and Peace, oh yes (not) Wanders up to hayloft for reanactment . Hmmmm Grin

Today we have mostly been doing 'stuff' out'n'about and also weeding garden, cleaning out chicken shed. Such is the excitement of my life. I still haven't done more that log into work email yet... must deal with at least one of the mountain.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 08/02/2015 21:03

Poirot with TB, lovely Smile

FancyFancy · 08/02/2015 21:13

Were they Maoam Pinballs mavis? They're lovely....

Seems like it's excitement all round today - the highlight of my day was catching a bus that I thought was cancelled Grin

Actually that's a bit harsh, I did have a nice long chat on the phone with BIL (not fucktrumpet BIL, my sis's DH)

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 08/02/2015 21:14

Oh God his voice

Flopsy28 · 08/02/2015 21:19

Evening all

I loves a maoam pinball I do

baddz, fab story about the wrong car...poor wife!
elk, good luck lubber, keep thinking of how settled you'll be by Wednesday when you have an Athos visit Wink

To all other wenches, have a good week, hopefully mine will be less manic so will try and check in.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/02/2015 21:20

Elk - you'll be fine with the move

LetUsPrey · 08/02/2015 21:26
WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 08/02/2015 21:31

A crazy cat lady Grin

FancyFancy · 08/02/2015 21:34

flopsy I always knew you were a woman of taste Grin

To add to all the advice for elk, cos clearly she'll have plenty of time on her hands to read it all, - eat out that first night Grin. Find your local fast food/chain restaurant & eat there. Best thing we ever did. I didn't fully appreciate this until cooking the following day & found the cooker had no power. It was only a fuse issue in the end, but trying to sort that out on that first day would have been too much!

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/02/2015 21:34

No LetUs pom-poms, not tassles

Oh FFS, I am smothered in cats and work is just too much effort. Have to deal with some stuff or I'll hold other people up though. Argh.

LetUsPrey · 08/02/2015 21:41

Grin Helen

It's interesting to watch the "I'm so happy for you faces" of the people who don't win the awards

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/02/2015 21:49

LetUs - what, those fixed insincere smiles where they're obviously thinking "I hate you - that was MY award"? Grin Not that we're watching BAFTAs (football - FML) but I can imagine...

FancyFancy · 08/02/2015 21:52

As the weather has been warmer today, I have not been smothered in cats, the fickle little bastards. Is it colder where you are helen?

Tassles would be a disaster - a cat would definitely pounce on those if you started twirling them Grin

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 08/02/2015 21:53

Hollaaaaaaaa wenches.

I have been MIA at family v nice meal out today.

Twitter seems to be full of boring boring bloody BAFTAs. Tumblr it is, then. But first shall have a re-read of those interviews. Cheeky Aramis....am I remembering correctly....ep 5? or 6? Let's HAVE IT.

LetUsPrey · 08/02/2015 21:55

Them's the ones Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/02/2015 22:01

Fancy Not especially cold, they just love my fleecy dressing gown, and if one gets on, then the other has to barge in too.

Evening sparks.

Right, I'm orf to make sarnies for tomorrow and wash my manky (but shorter-that-it-was) hair. (I cut it this evening and lopped about 4 inches off. Will make washing it a lot quicker. Grin

Snogs and squidges all round....

FancyFancy · 08/02/2015 22:02

I'm hoping it's ep 5 sparks. Ep 6 looks like it might be angsty for him judging by those pics. I just showed them to DD. There was much squeeing Grin

FancyFancy · 08/02/2015 22:05

If cats ever try to take over the world, we could deflect them with fleece. I bought a fleecy blanket for wrapping up in on the sofa in the evening. The cats have completely taken it over - it's covered in snags from where they knead it & if you're mad enough to go near it you emerge covered in cat hair.

MavisGrind · 08/02/2015 22:08

Right, I'm off to bed. Ds1 came down earlier and I had to quickly hide sweet wrappers under a cushion as they were technically his. That's not really the best parenting...

Night all.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 08/02/2015 22:12

You lopped 4 inches off your OWN hair Helen?

Shock
WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 08/02/2015 22:14

Mmmm Tom Wink

FancyFancy · 08/02/2015 22:23

It's still great parenting mavis, you're saving him from himself.

I've saved my two from a mountain of Haribo Tangfastics over the years Grin

LetUsPrey · 08/02/2015 22:39

I used to tell DS1 (who wouldn't eat nuts) that there were nuts in Minstrels, although that's not quite the same level of selflessness is it?

FancyFancy · 08/02/2015 22:41

Oh that's probably a higher level of selflessness letus, as Minstrels aren't as nice as Tangfastics Wink
