. Was just about to jump into a nice deep bath for a soak but have seen an email from DD's after school club-with-the-overcomplicated-arrangements. Ex has already pissed me off by backing out of collecting her from said club tomorrow because he's double booked & it seems we are now listed to provide transport for other club members too. I can't do it, ex could've had he not double booked himself & DD categorically told me in the week that we were NOT providing transport. So, everyone else screws up, but who will spend tomorrow morning on the phone to other club members trying to sort out this clusterfuck?

I am in party organising hell. Whoever invented the party bag should be shot. I made an executive decision of one good toy (mikado in wooden box) cake and a note card (Musketeer inspired as DS1 is a fan) saying thanks. Now I have to put together a quiz that a bunch of 9 year olds can master by working out what they are all into.

Beyond cross is about right comtess. I hate the excuse of 'but I don't know anyone' that he's always used for getting out of interacting with school friends' parents etc. Being born with a womb didn't mean I was born with ready made friends & acquaintances at school. I've fucking well made an effort over the years & it wasn't easy because I'm not very outgoing & now I have my reward because it is easier.

Found out earlier today (due to wails of despair from DD who couldn't get her Barney Blue Peter fix) that stupid HD box recorder thingy has been failing recordings. Won't bore you with the details but it's just taken me an hour of googling and manual retuning to sort out. Am feeling suitably proud of my tech skills, especially as DH fucked off to the man cave after announcing he was a bit lost with it all and DF just shrugged. I do wonder sometimes what the point of keeping and feeding a man shape is . But it's fixed and that means Musketeers will be recorded, which is the only thing that matters.

Have RBNR much other than woop woop!! for Elky and the house, and [arf] at Comtess and random men. Dolokhov Tom pic 2 is much better than pic 1 - it must have been lighting eh? Does give you an insight into TB in 20 years time though - and for the record still would. Also nice to see him enjoying redheads, which I thoroughly approve of, of course.
