Saw Elbow in concert last night. They were amazing! Knackered now, have a cold and am OTB.

Less than a week to Musketeers. I'm not due to go out on a Friday for a while now so we should have a good, uninterrupted run of episodes

Well I am at Center Parcs in a few weeks - of course, it's NOT a Friday that has been cancelled But give them time....

Hmm, that pic of Tom. He does look rather washed out. I thought his Breakfast Show look was going to be the one for W & P, but apparently not. A bit worried about the lack of beardage, but we know it grows back in days.

We found Great Expectations on the Tivo box last night and watched it again. DH remarked how different Tom looks in his various roles. He really is a chameleon.

LetUs - am very jealous of concert, though not the cold. Oh, and guess what - I was sneezing and snuffling like a good-un yesterday. Suppose at least I've had a couple of weeks cold-free.
Elk - hurrah for packers btw. It makes moving so much easier (except when they pack your library books that you left out on the side to take back before you move!) Also good rebrand on the perving. And where is his scarf? (That's not my TB - he has no scarf)

Just seen the Tom in Russia pic. Definitely lightened hair but am thinking that the washed out look could simply be lighting and camera flashes. I got the impression there were quite a few people waiting outside to take pics of the cast so perhaps...

it was interesting watching some series 1 eps after series 2. Aramis is much more of a caricature serial shagger in the eps I've watched (Commodities, King/Queen and the first one whos name i've forgotten).

It’s fun, really fun! Again I’m the youngest there and to go from messing about with the boys to suddenly acting as the most important person in the room is a big challenge! I feel very protective of the character and I feel very confident playing her now. It’s such a great thing to be able to stay with the character so long. Still, if I have a line that sounds a bit busybody, everyone goes ‘woohhhh’! But it’s really fun^

We are standing watching a very tedious match with ds3 in. I'm busy reading Wolf Hall threads in MN whilst pretending to engage with game. Drank my coffee, stuffed some tissues in a plastic bag (which I'd used to wipe some bird shit off the windscreen with earlier) in the empty cup and handed it to my right. 'Go and pop this in the bin love' I say.

Without looking up I say 'get your lazy backside into gear' and elbow him playfully. Yet with quite a jab.

Then ds2 from my left pipes up in mortified tone 'mum'.

I look round to see man to my right, a stranger to me. Gave him a big smile. He then tootles off to the bin. .

Ds2 has gone off muttering that I'm a nightmare.

Whoop whoop for Elk - hope the move goes smoothly. Talking to a friend recently who used packers - they carefully wrapped their recycling which they only discovered when emptying the last of the boxes, months later.

Off to make some lunch.

soupisleaping glad youre enjoying s1 . I think youre right, the first series was a bit cheesier and caricatured. Now its going deeper into the characters. I think aramis's pain is that he is a good man but has never found the right woman me who he can commit to. And he fixates on unattainable women queenie

Good luck to madame re mortgage & elk re moving. Packers really are the best thing ever, well worth the money. And like others said, it's funny to see what they will lovingly wrap . I'd recommend hiring a cleaner to do each room as the packers clear it too if you can.

Tom as Dolokhov. omg I love it! I mean its not TB as I prefer him - I prefer him as Athos. but this is exactly PERFECT for how I always imagined Dolokhov to look. They have got him looking totally Russian and it is totally spot on. Perfect. Utterly.
