Now KH had the opportunity there to complain about Perez and the licking etc and she didn't. She is a much better person than Perez, who takes every opportunity to try and get others in trouble.

So KH is now laughing at PH in the diary room in a nice way, and he's just a nuisance now. Yet three days ago she was fuming at every single thing he did and was raging when he returned.
So either she missed him.
Or something has made her think she should be nicer about him.
