It's Harvey who is entitled to the driver.Costing that much many parents(even rich ones)would understandably be tempted to reduce the days he went to school which wouldn't be in his best interest.

As she says her salary will go up and down and considering the amount of care he will need longterm saving where she can is v sensible.Also she must pay a fortune in taxes.

Joan you feel let down all you like, but the truth of the matter is that her child is entitled to that funding, and she is doing absolutely nothing wrong by using it. She is going to have to fund care for Harvey for the rest of his life, and she does not have a guaranteed income. She is doing what is best for her son.

Joan - no, her son is entitled to that. It has nothing to do with income. It is not a means-tested benefit. I would rather see the winter fuel allowance for pensioners means tested than what Harvey gets.

I'm not sure it is racist. Its definitely not PC, but it is definitely a style and not always a slur. More culturally appropriating than downright racist. Admittedly I'm not American, so I don't really know.
