Ok. I just arranged a playdate today with my neighbours son, cos my neighbour is ill with flu type thing and needed a hand. I told dp this.

Half an hour later, an hour before neighbours son is due, p tells me he's just been on the phone and arranged a playdate with the mother of another friend of ds. And has just left in the car to take him. Leaving me stuck here like a spare prick.

Aibu to be really, really fucking angry about this? Cos I am anyway.

So TB has taken DS off to a playdate elsewhere to leave you having a playdate by yourself with neighbours'd son?

I dont think that will work, they are different ages child who dp has gone out with is a pita I just wanted a quiet avo, stick them both in front of a film while I do my tax return, cos today is the only free day I have to do it.

I just rang hin and he says he will bring ds back in time, without other child. Which is just going to piss off the other mum, no?

Why would anyone do such a stupid thing?

I am so cross because neighbour is lovely, she is a lone mum with nc ex, she never asks for help so she must really need it. And I explained all this to p. and I am getting a migraine

If she finds out its gone sideways she will probably say "oh dont worry Ill be fine" but I know she isnt. And she will probably think, my ds must not want to play with her son otherwise they wouldnt have invited some other kid round to play too.

Hello travelled. It was bloody postponed for the football!

Electrician has just been. HOT OR WHAT! And he was a beardy fucker! Tall, young, athletic build, dark hair, beautiful brown eyes and the most amazing smile!

I have found a few more jobs I need him to come back to do and I am to call him in about a month when he has 'less on'! (He'd have a lot less on if I had my way).

That's made my weekend!

Hi travelled, you might like to know that it will also be postponed for Rugby on 6th February, Comic Relief on 13th March, and two other possible dates. The BBC are having a laugh, at our expense!

The guy Tom had conversation with on the tube appears to be an actor so that may be why he got such a good reaction and a picture. Not sure how he would react to a fan in that situation especially if said fan was being embarassingly over-enthusiastic!
