Battlestar Galactica - anyone else love it?????

Am I a total nerdo sci fi geek or are other people getting into BG? I mean I've never been interested in any other sci fi shows i.e. Star Trek etc etc but although it took a while, I have become addicted to BG. In Sydney, we only get it really late at night, so it's a pain....

absolutely love the 're-imaginging of BSG....top stuff!

I struggle with SciFi unfortunately the rest of the household love it they get most annoyed with me going "ohh thats clever do you think they cocoa pops stuck to his face to make him look like that" and "whats that thing on his head" plus general quiet snorting and sniggering.

Have now been banished to the kitchen to bake each weekend whilst they enjoy the star wars run on Sky.

It is great, I started watching because I loved the original (Starbuck - what a spunk!) and I'm hooked, DH is not a sci-fi person at all and he has totally got into it too. We have season 2.0 and 2.5 from Amazon and are in heaven in the non-ratings period in Oz! Although I must say. I am a total TV addict and I do love a good low brow movie too...
