Really sorry Alex has gone. Think he did well to hold it together atall!! He was very dignified when Ken addressed him by a racist term. Perez knew what he was doing and unfortunately Alex rose to it and used an unacceptable word...Again, where is Perez's warning? I found his display in the garden repulsive!!
As for 'the wrath of mumsnetters' towards Alex, I can't just be a robot and say what's PC.... I'll say my honest opinion!!

Alexander in my view is another dinosaur.

Alex is NOT a nice person he just kept quite schtum in the house but he is homophobic and racist himself. He always had an edge that he was faking it. I don't think the exits are finished with this series

Im glad Alexander just left he knew perez was provoking him he is a 60 something yeat old man he doesn't have to put up with it so he left perez hilton is more disgusting than ken imo he is a vile filthy inexcusable bully I hate him and have complained to channel 5 and ofcom I have never complained about a telly show ever.

I think it's a shame Alexander felt he had to leave, but tbh he was getting more & more wound up in there he may have done something he would have regretted.

There was speculation that a house mate was spotted leaving the house on digital spy last night.
If they are putting a replacement in they need to do it as soon as, although a revolving door might be a better idea

I think perez may have seen how well received the 'mad american' was last year and has just completely got it wrong. Him and KH will have to go next I doubt they will be able to behave now!

Bloody hell, Alex leaving is a surprise. Perez is a disgusting vile bully. I rarely use that word about people in BB because people are too quick to call anything in there bullying, but Perez pushed and pushed him.

BB are just letting Perez get away with vile behaviour because they think it makes good telly.

Whoever said KH was threatening Perez and changed her tune, that's not right. She said from the start about banging the pans to make noise to keep him awake. BB hadn't shown Perez's little bedroom coughing stunt by then, which is what led to everyone being totally fucked off with him.

Naggia doesn't even get along with her own family, so I think we are seeing the real her. She is desperate to win and has backed the wrong horse. She has aggravated every argument in there by butting in.

Amazed at the "Poor Alicia" comments - she is badly behaved (food stealing), calls people names, is obsessed with appearance (saying KH needs a boob job) and that doesn't even begin to address her behaviour outside the house. She is famous for her kiss and tell antics (including with married men - John Terry's wife was pregnant at the time too) and for wanting to give her DD a boob job and telling her that plastic surgery and becoming a model was a better life choice than sitting her exams. What a lovely lady she is.

I'm sad Alex has gone. He was provoked mercilessly. He probably went because he would've throttled him otherwise. I hope he didn't need the money.

I hate how everyone has to tip toe around certain issues and yet others are getting away with murder, blatantly.

KH is acid but AD is pretty bloody 'thick' and an awful role model for young women....not that any would actually aspire to obtain that fixed 'bewildered' look....

And Nadia and Patsy seem nicey nicey, but both have a nasty side and fierce tempers. No one has pushed their buttons yet, but we have to see more than the current side of them, surely?
