I'm a sucker for all the go abroad and get a new life programmes. I loved this one, I guess it was last on about 2 or 3 years ago. Does anyone know if it's coming back and also what happend to some of the participants? I always wondered what happened to the family who went to Sarlat and the couple who felt conned by being taken to Tenerife to find that they couln't set up a water sports business because they were 20 yrs too late.

I hope not.

They always have to do the, 'Oh, it's wonderful and we're so happy and rich here' at the end.

Yawn.

boring.

well we've been to the Chamonix chalet that was on this programme - twice actually and we're going again next year.

The people are lovely, the prices are fantastic, we'd never have found it without the programme.

All these property and relocation shows seem to have been replaced by ones about diet, obesity, eating, etc.

Which are just as boring IMO.

I know what you mean expat but with No Going Back you get to see the area too - Chamonix looked amazing and we've since found out it is!

Yes, I have fond memories of Chamonix.

But not b/c of the TV programme .
