I watch, I love it!! Knew what those mountain men were upto though, it wad obvious why they are keeping the 100 around and being so nice.

I thought they were going to eat them!!

I thought that they wanted the 100 to marry into their population to create radiation resistant babies so they could get out of the mountain sooner.

I thought breeding at first but that wouldn't be dramatic enough foe the show so guessed using them in a medical way to make themselves immune. I had thought experiments or something though rather than total blood transfusion.

It's an interesting direction for the second series and reminds me of Battlestargalactica in feel (but I don't really know why!)

I don't think I have ever seen battlestar galactica but I am really enjoying this programme. I was worried that the introduction of techy people would take away from the feel of the show and make it too different from what it was but I still find myself on the edge of my seat.

It is hilarious they are not Americans I think! Lincoln is British, I think, Bellamy is NZ or Aussie and Clark is Aussie!

I think what is nice that four of the strongest characters are women, Clark, Octavia, Abby and Raven. And the heroes are geeky Jasper and people who know about science etc!

A bit too violent for me! But I love it all the same.

And what's with that whole new language thing Lincoln was teaching Octavia?

I mean, this nuclear war was, what? About 95 years or so before the first series started? How is that enough time for the irradiated inhabitants of the former USA to have lost all their English? Even if there'd been a bit of linguistic shift or whatever, you'd think there'd still be enough common ground for Octavia to be able to communicate with the non-warrior grounders.

Stars I will let you have him, no way would I steal him from Octavia and risk pissing her off!!

Love this show! I've seen up to the mid season finale (not sure where you are with it on demand viewing) I watched it originally thinking it was going to be a teen drama type thing but I was hooked instantly, I love how dark it's gone in the second season.

I've had to convince DP that we are not calling our expected DD Octavia.

DH and I are hooked too. I realised what was going on with baby but was totally sucked in by the mountain men. But if the 100 are destined to be blood donors, why aren't they in cages already?

Not enough cages? Or wrong blood group?

Maybe they are going to mysteriously take them one at a time as they run out of grounders? Or maybe they took blood while they were in quarantine and they are running tests?

I think I would trip over stuff if Lincoln was there to pick me up in those big strong arms!

The baby got me, I didn't see that happening although I was skeptical how the baby had survived so long!

I was worried the way Jaha sort of fell into the pod and I was worried he might have landed on his stomach!

Oh yes op when he face planted i was like not liking the adults just taking charge of the 100 you would think they would be a little nice conisdering they had survived for so long with out them

Love this too. So are the mountain men harvesting people and eating them? I wondered if that was the case when they were at the feast.

Pleased to find a thread on The 100. I think I'm the only person I know in rl who has even heard of it.

Clark annoys me though... just stop trying to open doors and enjoy the easy living woman! On the other hand, I'd be wanting to leave if there was a chance of a shot at lovely Lincoln

I haven't come across anyone else watching in rl apart from DH.

I tried telling my parents a bit about it and my mum kept going on about how Europe would have been a better place for them to go to because it's bigger than America

Rummi I don't think they are eating them, although I guess they could be. They are using then for full blood transfers. When a mountain man is exposed to radiation they just hang a grounder upside down and drain their blood into the patient.

Shadow I haven't either, my ex comes round every week to watch because we are the only people who like it!
