Is nobody watching this? It's quite ludicrous but surprisingly gripping.

Oh good there's a thread! I was watching it, then a small child woke up and I missed a crucial bit...

Why did she push the drunk man off the platform in the first place? I caught the ending so I get why the others, but why him?

Diamondring · 13/01/2015 22:05

She had try to use him before for her revenge spree, but it went wrong so she got rid of him.

I thought it was crap. And boring. And odd. And I am a big SW fan normally.

loveliesbleeding1 · 13/01/2015 22:53

Yes, I just watched it, it is a bit silly really, but still watchable.Does anyone know why they kept cutting their victims hair, I didn't catch that part, so would be very grateful if anyone could explain.

GColdtimer · 13/01/2015 23:23

Also if it was her all along why did she run and lock herself in the bathroom when his efit came on the TV??

lightbulbisbright · 13/01/2015 23:59

I enjoyed it as always. I don't get the hair bit either. I had no idea it was her all along so that's something.

lightbulbisbright · 13/01/2015 23:59

I didn't realise she had tried to use the first one as part of her plan. I must have missed that bit.

LineRunner · 14/01/2015 00:01

Honestly, who knows?

The scriptwriters certainly don't.

bluecheque4595 · 14/01/2015 00:04

I miss that lovely fella who was in it. He had a chin that just won't quit.

LineRunner · 14/01/2015 00:06

Harry? Leo?

bluecheque4595 · 14/01/2015 06:39

harry.

LineRunner · 14/01/2015 07:11

I thought he and whatsherface were going to get it on.

Dulra · 14/01/2015 09:06

I thought it was great can't believe some of you thought it was boring. Thought Eoin was great and checked out the credits he is Jack Roth, Tim Roth's son spit of him! Missed the bit that she had tried to use the 1st homeless guy but it didn't work out was wondering why the detective was telling him she played him like a fool. Twofalls I was thinking that too about her locking herself in the toilet but think it may be just that she freaked out because he had been caught on camera so might foil their plan. Cos the bit in the bathroom when he had the knife up to her thinking back on it again she did seem more in control in that scene. I miss Harry too but I am really enjoying this series can't wait for the next one next week

orangepudding · 14/01/2015 09:15

I really enjoyed it.

Also didn't understand why the locks of hair had been cut.

QoFE · 14/01/2015 09:26

Ahhhhh ok.

But how did they work out she'd tried to get the first bloke to do the killing for her?

loveliesbleeding1 · 14/01/2015 09:33

Ahh so not just me with no clue as to why the hair was cut, at least I am in good company.

SymphonyofShadows · 14/01/2015 11:19

I think once they saw her stab the guy on the CCTV from the newsagent they realised that she stabbed the guy she pushed, he had the same marks.

I'm guessing the locks of hair were to do with her being given a lock of her baby's hair when they took him away? Did anyone else think Laurie seemed too young to be 5?

Hoppinggreen · 14/01/2015 11:23

I knd of figured out it was her doing the killing with him helping.
I also don't see the point of the sub plot with the policeman killing his father when he was young
It was ok but I still don't see why Nicky meter views everyone .

SymphonyofShadows · 14/01/2015 11:31

I thought that the girl was somehow controlling him to do the killings at first, remember the bit where she woke him up and said it was time to go? But then she freaked out ran away so I had second thoughts.

orangepudding · 14/01/2015 13:44

was the first man killed with the same weapon? I thought they thought Owen got the weapon from an apprenticeship he did.

WipsGlitter · 14/01/2015 13:47

I agree the child looked way younger than five. And why did she dress up in the mum's clothes and make-up?

And what was the point of the sub-plot about the other policeman?

Emilia Fox's hair is FANTASTIC.

stinkingbishop · 14/01/2015 13:51

She had a locket with her baby's hair, so I think the hair clipping was to add to her 'collection', along with the little photographs.

I found it horrid. In a brilliant way. Unlike La Fox's outfit. Which was horrid, in a non-brilliant way!

Sorry, I know she chooses them with Wardrobe to help build the Nicky character, but...

Whippet81 · 14/01/2015 14:55

It was a bit strange this week and things didn't quite tie up. I missed the bit where they said Laurie was 5 I would have said more 3.

I do have quite a girl crush EF but I agree the clothes were dreadful - she looked ludicrous trotting through the station with those heels and skirt.

kerstina · 14/01/2015 15:25

I am not usually a big Silent witness fan but I was gripped by this one and thought it was very clever.

loveliesbleeding1 · 14/01/2015 15:27

Ah yes I see, she was using the hair as a trophy.I also hated the skirt.
