Sparkle I thought the same about the church. Was actually thinking 'ha! This is where those fucking shite Hollywood three dandy musketeers not being hot or dirty but wearing bright blue feathers would have had a stupid close up scene or cardboard set. It just looked amazing.

Also used to love watching Robin of Sherwood, both Michael Praed and Jason Connery. Thèy had Ray Winstone on Desert Island Discs last week and, although I didn't hear the full thing, I don't think they mentioned RoS

Incidentally, RoS is on ITV Encore at the moment, first two episodes are On Demand as well as starting tomorrow afternoon every day.

Good re-watch? I've not had a chance for a second look this week, this time last week I'd already watched ep1 three times!

Mavis...too bloody right, and maybe add in several hours of exclusively Athos trailers prior to the main event. However, re MW, unless you like looking at the top of a man's head then I suggest he may be a little on the short side.

Re. Athos reaction to milady, I'm a bit disappointed....I thought seeing her again would be a major part of his 'arc' but they've missed a trick there I feel. I was expecting a comedy double take/horrorstruck Athos reeling from shock at the very least, or him being tortured for a few episodes by glimpses of her, or something other than the "oh, s'you......alright?" scene we got.

Oh for goodness sake, I think I'm still wearing the crap hat.....Will try to be less grumpy in the morning >:(
