I did an early rewatch as I have to get to bed early - need to be in work by 7.00am tomorrow - I take back what I said Friday. As I said at the time I wasn't in a very good mood Friday night and think that ruined my first watch.

Was better than I thought and lots of shots of Athos arse even if a clothed Athos arse.

Loved the action in the bar with Aramis shooting over shoulder at the wine casket! Loved the scarf though I do think d'Artagnan was temporarily putting his life at risk ripping it off Athos' neck - that's a job for a wench not a Musketeer!

I am going off for a quick soak and then to bed and will catch up with the thread in the morning and re-live your own re-watch!

Apricot next time you have a spare moment, there is a lovely bit just before the barrel shooting bit about 8 mins in where Athos says 'your last chance'. Then there id a shot of him standing there AS HOT AS FUCK. Then he does a sort of eyeroll. I'd LOVE a gif of that. Immense pleasure derived.

Hilare ref three night on the trot rewatch. Btw. That might even stretch it a bit even for a legend like Mr A.

Evening all. I've eaten a Whispa and a box of chocs (only 8 chocs in there, but, still) so feel a little queasy. Will see if a cup of tea helps.

It's very hard to watch sometimes - it's based in a sort of dark ages time frame so attitudes to women and the disabled and the poor are pretty grim
But it's brilliant - the production values alone are amazing
And the casting! Spot on
